I started Sky back in 2018 as well! The fandom has changed so much since back then, but Sky will always have a place in my heart as my favourite arc. Definitely my favourite Trails cast still, though Estelle is not my favourite jrpg protagonist (that would be Zero from Drakengard 3), she’s very much my top 3. Just got her figure the other day!

They seemingly modified the logo of a joint venture between Sega and Falcom in the 90s to bring their PC games to the sega mega drive and CD. That strange but endearing quote was the slogan of the short lived alliance between the two companies.
So excited for my trails through daybreak CE to deliver this week! Unfortunately I’m a few games behind so won’t be able to play straight away but it looks incredible. Also BIG love to pin box as it’s the one outlet I can easily utilise here in the UK where JRPG merch is still pretty alien - nobody in my circle of family, friends or colleagues here in Wales knows who or what “a falcom” is 😂

It's so cool that you are such a fan of the Trails series. And you are cosplaying as Estelle? Love it! I completed Sky 1 and 2 earlier this year and loved every minute of it. My trek through the series has been a little all over the place but I'm getting through it slowly but surely. I completed Azure the other day and I'm now back in Erebonia with Cold Steel 3 (I played Cold Steel 1 and 2 then went back to complete the Crossbell arc... now I'm back to Cold Steel). Jeez, I rambled on way too long. Loved watching this video and I'm SO jelly you got the LE of the game. I'd gone full digital but have started to double dip and by physicals of my favorite RPGs. This is something I started doing recently so I missed out on some amazing LEs.
Yeah I don't see too many collectors going for all the Trails figures on RUclips either, but there are a few figure collector creators I follow who have a few of them. They're great figures and glad to hear you've been thoroughly enjoying your time with the games :)

It'll be more difficult to relate my figure and merch spending in my current spreadsheets because most of these preorder items were ones that I already saved up for last year. So that's sort of why I've just restricted my gaming low-buy challenge to just video games right now for the spreadsheets.

I love to see your enthusiasm for the Trails games. I've had the legend of heroes downloaded on my PSP for the longest but never got around to playing it. The last RPG i completed and enjoyed was J'eanne D'arc.
The first three legend of heroes games are actually not related to the Trails series (despite the name lol). I haven't played them myself but hope to get ahold of them at some point, or remasters would be welcome haha. J'eanne D'arc I picked up last year and I keep bumping it up my backlog priority list.

My copy of Trails Through Daybreak is coming today, I am super excited. That Estelle keychain is super cute, her hugging the bug is perfect. In the comments I saw you got those Nendoroids for really good prices, Its not often I have seen those for that price. I think I wont get anymore scale figures from the Cold Steel Arc anymore because we have 5 already. Unless Jusis, Laura, C or Sara gets one, it might be hard for me to resist then lol. Need to have more figures from the other arcs represented in the collection. Tios figure was amazing and I think Its only a matter of time before Lloyd get his figure now. I wonder if we get another Trails in the Sky figure next or we get someone else from an another arc. I wonder what pinbox are gonna release today. Falcom are really going hard thanks to the 20th anniversary, hopefully I can afford everything I want lol. Only gotten the Canvas with the easel so far. I have no more space for tapestries (already have 4 of them on the wall lol) and acrylic stands have really never been my thing.
I've spent a bit of time playing 'Fire Emblem Fates Conquest' so I know Corrin is: holding a dragon stone, the flames are likely a dragon vein, and the insignia on the back of her armor belongs to the nation of Nohr. I think by giving the base of this statue a 'royal red carpet' look proves the sculptor knew what they were doing, despite the fact that crystals forge swords and rubies/coral forge lances/Naginata (you gotta even out all that red somehow). Maybe if the 4 gems in the sword were translucent baby blue (which might have been hard to do), and the jewel in her neck broach was translucent red (to match the threads), then the statue would maintain its balance/Feng Shui, and also be statistically correct (finding 2 of those swords to fuse together is "rare", lol). The sculptor continues to create unity by: mirroring the tattered cape to the flames, to the overall pose, and they get extra credit for the detail in spacing between the toes.
I missed so many Trails CE (Reverie, Daybreak and Azure.) I hate having to buy stuff off the aftermarket, I at least wanted all the collector editions for the Crossbell/Erebonia arcs. I wasn't expecting them to sell out as fast as they did.
The Trails collector editions seem to get bought up quickly these days. I usually try to buy them within the first week they're available to pre-order to secure a copy.

Late to the game here... I am was so relieved when I got Tio and I saw that her base was painted... in all the previews, her base was transparent, and all the other Kotobukiya figures had painted bases, so it would have just been strange to not have that. It seems the Kotobukiya kiseki figures have been selling really well... but I wonder if they're going to keep going, given that they announced Joshua quite some time ago and still have only released a prototype of him. Before, it seemed that there was one coming out every few months, and it's been radio silence from Kotobukiya since that announcement, which came quite awhile after Estelle. I'm really hoping for more: I'm loving these figures so much! I'm hoping as well that PinBox makes some pins of new class VII or the characters from Reverie, since the last pin was Jusis. I got all the 20th anniversary t-shirts and they are great quality... definitely recommended. I've had such good experiences with PinBox (and LOL almost all my t-shirts are black). I also got a mystery t-shirt from them, which was perfect for me: Ouroboros! (I wear their Ouroboros pin all the time.) Corrin looks great! I've never gotten a figure with felt on the base before... I didn't know that was a thing until this video.
I don’t tend to buy LE but I’ve been loving this series so much and all regular copies are sold out in Sweden so I got the PS5 LE from the EU store. I’m glad they have an EU store now since UK left EU the import costs are crazy from that shop.

My copy of Trails Through Daybreak should turn up this week. I can't wait. I didn't play the demo because I rather play the whole game when I get it. I hope the rumors about remasters of the Sky trilogy are true.

While Sky FC is the optimal place to start, it may not be the most accessible title (before the upcoming remaster). But generally any of the 1st games of each arc are good places to start, so if not Sky FC then Trails from Zero, Cold Steel 1, or this latest entry Trails through Daybreak :)

Played the prologue in the demo and liked daybreak. My first experience with trails. I hate that they released it like a month early though cause I played it then decided to play something else (which is why I avoided the rebirth demo lol) in between and now I’m thinking of doing a 90s era playthrough after absolutely loving Grandia. Might have to slowly work my way through along with the others although I don’t do well playing multiple meaty jrps at once.

OMG what did you pay for the Estelle and Renne Nendos? they pop up on pre-owned from time to time and they cost a lottttttt, like at least 10K Yen or more. I am currently in a bout with whether I should pick up the Emma with bonus face Koto Scale that i found for a good price. Tio is on the way though! :D
I know nothing of this franchise, there are so many games on this franchise. Everytime i look at the playstation store theres new ones lol. Id like to play them but I don’t know where to start, i would love some advice from people who have played them.
Ideally starting from the beginning with Sky FC is the best, but that isn't exactly accessible on PlayStation right now so I would recommend maybe trying the first game of any of the arcs that looks most interesting to you to see if it's something you will want to invest more time in. So either Trails from Zero, Cold Steel 1, or Trails Through Daybreak.

I think many skipped the PS5 version for CS 3/4 because they included most of the same items as the previous collector releases for 3 & 4.

While Sky FC is the optimal place to start, it may not be the most accessible title (before the upcoming remaster). But generally any of the 1st games of each arc are good places to start, so if not Sky FC then Trails from Zero, Cold Steel 1, or this latest entry Trails through Daybreak :)

Played the prologue in the demo and liked daybreak. My first experience with trails. I hate that they released it like a month early though cause I played it then decided to play something else (which is why I avoided the rebirth demo lol) in between and now I’m thinking of doing a 90s era playthrough after absolutely loving Grandia. Might have to slowly work my way through along with the others although I don’t do well playing multiple meaty jrps at once.

I can hardly find most of those figures here in Australia without breaking my bank😂 There's never been a better time for Trails fans as 3rd arc for Calvard coming out September, Daybreak English release coming soon and even rumours about Sky arc coming to modern platforms! Come on Sky arc really deserves better~

OMG what did you pay for the Estelle and Renne Nendos? they pop up on pre-owned from time to time and they cost a lottttttt, like at least 10K Yen or more. I am currently in a bout with whether I should pick up the Emma with bonus face Koto Scale that i found for a good price. Tio is on the way though! :D

I know nothing of this franchise, there are so many games on this franchise. Everytime i look at the playstation store theres new ones lol. Id like to play them but I don’t know where to start, i would love some advice from people who have played them.
Ideally starting from the beginning with Sky FC is the best, but that isn't exactly accessible on PlayStation right now so I would recommend maybe trying the first game of any of the arcs that looks most interesting to you to see if it's something you will want to invest more time in. So either Trails from Zero, Cold Steel 1, or Trails Through Daybreak.

Azure and Sky are old games. They're basically ports of games from the PSP era with some quality of life updates.
