    This is one of the coolest pieces I’ve seen that isn’t “standard” but still checks all the boxes I’m in to

    Looks good! Will seriously consider. I’m not sure of the sizing though. The website and your video confirms that the sleeve length is long compared to the typical chest. Seems a little slim for the length, is another way of putting it. Will go for the xl but I may regret it.

      @rockymtnstyle  8 месяцев назад

      Hello! Thank you for the comment. What is your height and weight And chest measurement? I might be able to give some advice. True they are a little long, but not so much that it bugs me. Thx!

    • @rockymtnstyle
      @rockymtnstyle  8 месяцев назад

      Hmmm... yeah, I think a large would be fine for chest and sleeves... I worry that the hem might be a little too short at Large, though. If you don't mind that, I'd try a large, otherwise, XL.

      I must have like half the items you’ve reviewed on your channel, we have similar style. Bought this jacket maybe 4-5 months ago now and it is showing some light fades, really dig this one. I like that it’s not a denim jacket and the way TS made this a bit of a fuller cut, at least when it comes to trucker style jackets. I don’t like how stiff and slim denim jackets can be, I’ve always found the fits tricky, but this one works well for me. From afar, it almost has a corduroy look to it, I’ve had a lot of people ask if that’s what it is. And totally agree, it looks great with some color underneath, especially orange/yellow, really pops. Of all the items in my closet, I’d say I get compliments and people asking about this jacket above anything else (except my Ojai jacket in olive tweed herringbone).

    Looks great! Enjoy! I have a sashiko long haul with a wool lining I basically wear all winter. The sleeve lining was thin and wore through after a couple years of hard wear in the winter. Thanks to the TS guarantee though, I’m having my tailor replace the lining and gonna get reimbursed. Hope the lining is better on this coat. I have a TS Ojai coat that I’ve had no issues with the lining. Totally agree RE being able to wear it more easily with jeans without looking Canadian tuxedo haha

      @rockymtnstyle  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hey! I recall you mentioning the sashiko long haul you have... sounds so cool. And very interesting about the TS guarantee. I've read about it on the site, of course, but haven't had anything long enough to wear it out. I might pick your brain on the process sometime in the future to chat about it in a video. I know they are re-vamping some of those systems (specifically the buy back, I think) and said they'd let me know when they are ready to release some info. :)

      @@rockymtnstyle nice! Sure I’d be happy to share my experience, overall really love the brand and have several pieces both new and a couple second hand. This is actually the second time getting this jacket repaired thus why I just opted for the sleeves to be fully replaced. When it was a repair I think it cost like $40-50 a year and a half ago. This time I think my tailor said $100 some they said it was fine so we’ll see if they honor it with the higher price. It wasn’t cash back but rather store credit which is fine by me. I already have queued up in my cart what I plan to get when I get my credit. 😅

    I’ve always liked the cut on the long haul & the angled chest pockets. Looks good on you. That fabric is interesting. I’ve got an old medium wash Type III denim jacket with perfect fades from Banana Republic that’s got some stretch to it that I honestly don’t wear often enough.

    A small feature I’ve always liked about the long hauls is the hardware. Has a cool look to it.

    • @rockymtnstyle
      @rockymtnstyle  8 месяцев назад

      Totally agree. I was actually quite surprised how striking the hardware was as soon as I saw it in person. They had a waxed long haul that was supposed to come out this year but some issues in production caused a delay, but I think they are going to try and release next year. I'll be all over that one! :)
