  • How to learn all of the ACT English skills! There's 25 ACT English skills you're going to see on every single ACT exam that you take. If you're looking to improve your ACT English score, you simply have to develop your understanding of the ACT English's skill that show up time and time again.
    This video is an in-depth discussion of each skill, the strategies you should use to approach these problems, as well as typical problem examples that represent each of the skills.
    So the question becomes, how exactly do you learn the skills? There's 2 methods you can use: practicing a ton, or using our problem sets for each skill on the exam. The first method takes at least a month to implement and master (you need to practice quite a bit), and the second method takes just a couple of weeks.     29:18 the answer on the screen is wrong while the speaker said a different answer.

      The answer A is actually correct because choice B changes the meaning while A makes an observation

    15:04 answer on screen is wrong and not what the audio says

      The guy says he would usually say putting on if he were to replace the word, the answer lines up with that because the question asks for what he wouldn't say.
      The thing he would probably never say would be A, which is the answer. I know what you mean though, he could have clarified it by saying "I would say putting on in every day language because of the informality of the passage, meaning it is incorrect." This would be a much better clarifier of what he meant.

      @@braiden_ But is not the B the least correct?, due to it says "inviting others to their own..." and the next would be "a picnic", so is not incorrect to say "inviting others to their own A picnic or barbecue?
