I think the post from jamie allen is referring to Foghorn's comical reaction anytime Henery, the small chicken hawk, attempted to take him home for dinner. Henery to Foghorn: "I'm a chicken hawk, you're a chicken...get the picture?" and Foghorn would react: "Chicken?? I'm no chicken, son, I'm a rooster!". The gag played on the fact that Henery was easily fooled into chasing other animals Foghorn claimed were chickens.
Likely, he kept doing the Looney Tunes voices until his death in 1989. Only one he retired from was Yosemite Sam, who wore on his throat in his last few years.
@@ToonReel001 cause most of Sam's lines consisted of mel yelling out his words thus then that would end up hurting his throat from doing all that yelling
I'd 👀 that commercial several times on WCBS-📺 Ch. 2, back in my autism childhood place NYC.

"Are you comin' quietly, or do I have to muss ya up?!"
It is my favorite commercial.
Foghorn leghorn is so funny
Warmer Bros. took the name of chicken hawk too literal. They mainly eat mammals such as rodents and rabbits.
I say I say son now pay attention to me it's not KFC it's Kentucky FRIED chicken
So neither the higher-ups at KFC or Warner Bros. saw using Foghorn Leghorn in KFC ads as being a little strange?
Foghorn leghorn isn't a chicken he's a rooster
A rooster is a male chicken, actually.
