The Fed does not "sell" treasuries, it hold them to maturity and the capital is returned to the Fed. Many treasuries are short term, so this is happening continually. (The only "selling" occurs under agreements to repurchase.) Return of capital is not income and does not appear in an income statement. So, the Fed can have gobs of cash and look like they're going "bankrupt" in their income statement. The Fed will never go bankrupt. The US Government might, if our Treasury debt becomes unsellable, but not the Fed.
It's OK, the feds have gold and silver stashed away in Fort knoxx and other places right?... right?...

FED will not go bankrupt, but they will face a lot pressures from congress. Previously they earn 100b profit and hand over to treasury department, now no more profit. And on paper they lost over 1T while profit is negative 100b, yikes. Congress men will be angry

Balance Sheet is wrong, you only debit Assets under cash balance then credit Stockholders equity, this is to record the initial inflow of money. Then you credit cash and debt marketable securities (Or in this case 10yr bond).
The value of the dollar actually comes from our military and it’s ability to keep it as the worlds reserve currency.
