bro this is actually good it can trick ppl into thinking you actually have a controller because one of the features of playnite is that it have themes so you can install a theme for the full screen mode and make the full screen mode look exactly like ps5 or Xbox and even Nintendo switch or any console really and that is a tip for you if you like the feel of consoles but like the graphics and the features of pc.
Hey, loved ur video. I just got rid of launchbox cuz of focus and slowness issues. I like playnite its free and has no issues from what i been reading. I juat have to learn how to use it lol. Thank u brotha, i got specs on my pc like urs and launchbox and bigbox still ran slow lol go figure. Im all in with playnite plus it has a ps5 theme i want to, so time to start building my custom ps5 lol
@@MisterNyte ive used neither of the two but bazzite from my experience a near identical experience to steamOS, it uses Fedora instead of arch and a few plugins from decky dont work like animation changer, you have to use steam deck repo as an alternative. It works fairly well as of right now, and using a steam deck as a companion makes it an even better experience
@@MisterNyte Bazzite is fedora based, but works well to replicate steamOS, they also target nvidia support. HoloISO is stale, does not get any new updates.. ChimeraOS is the better choice if u have AMD GPU, its pretty similiar to HoloISO but better now, but with gnome on desktop mode, it also has targeted handheld support such as rog ally, etc..
My screen is an OLED 55 inch and having hdr on all the time hurts my eyes. Plus many games in windows don’t use hdr so you are playing sdr games in an hdr container which could mess up the black level and colors.
Sorry to necro this comment section, but when I paste the command into a cmd window, it just says the specified path could not be found. Running as administrator, on the only account in the computer, so I’m lost because I’m not very good in terminal 😂

I fixed it. I copied and pasted that command lint prompt script that u had. I went back into netplwiz and I now see the option to allow username and password for this computer. I unchecked the box, now I restarted my computer and it worked. Thank u

Use this one instead (as admin): reg ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device" /v DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f If that doesn't work, make sure you're a local user by going to settings > Your Info > Local Account. It's a two-step process to transfer. Then, just try again.

Never had an issue with playnite its always so smooth
If you dont care about certain anticheat titles BazziteOS is also a good option since it's a clone of Valve's Steam Deck OS
How is that compared to HoloISO or ChimeraOS?

Hmmm I don't have to manually keep setting HDR, I just set it once and the display it's enabled for is always in HDR.

@@FilledWithChi11 ah makes sense, I also play on a 55 inch on G1 but I don't mind HDR always on and the games I play all support HDR.
Why wouldn’t you just leave HDR turned on in windows all the time?

man, you dont need to use that exact comman. I did it with sysinternals. there are other ways just search passwordless boot
Can you put like chrome, youtube netflix etc in playnite aswell? Like so the pc becomes a comfy entertainment device altogether

Is there anyway to do this but when you boot you choose whether you want a console or PC experience?
If you set up dual boot with two separate versions of windows you can do it.
