Yeah 1 she should’ve just used her hands instead of the comb 2 she left it in way too long combing it out straight

does it stay permanently in your hair if you wanna go back to ur natural hair?
honestly no, ive been using s curl products for years and they just automatically revert back to your natural hair in like 3 weeks, that's why there's a 'retouch' instruction in it because u have to keep retouching when it wears off
