I've been taking lessons from an experienced instructor in Vegas.. it's great. I know we have a Pandemic so that's a little on the edge. Hahaha . She great! Her name is Gina.. from Brooklyn and she been teaching in Vegas for 25 years. she' got my voice to hit 2 octaves.. Problem is I'm living on my boat in Washington State . but too really advance my vocals I need this woman for at least 6 months. Oh..And! I bought a Bass Guitar and I'm learning that from a good instructor at Guitar Center of the Strip... Never in my wildest.. during a Pandemic. I'm having fun and trying to keep grounded.. Your Warm up help a lot thanks 😊
2:25 I do the same thing with my singing teacher but my upper central incisor and my lower lip get in touch all the time so I do a fffffff sound all the time. When I shove my jaw forward it works a bit better but thats not the right way to do this exercise. My teacher says that my lip is not relaxed enough but I have absolutely idea how to relax it.
Some people have a hard time with it and that's ok. I would just have you do a "raspberry" which is like rolling your Rrrrrrs for a long time. This will accomplish the same thing.
I was wondering if you can tell me more about Mitch Grassi's technique. He's a member of pentatonix and I have the same voice type, but my head register isn't as strong as his.
My voice is not clear although when I speak n sing as well and when I sing it seems that something is restricting my voice to open at its full capacity. please provide me a method to cure this
It's really difficult for me to provide a cure without hearing you. That being said, if you can't create a pure tone when you speak, and you sound raspy, then you may need to practice speaking and singing with your pharyngeal resonator. This resonator is between your chest and head voice. It's the spot where baby's cry and they don't get hoarse. Cry through your range on a "wah". Make it REALLY whiny. See if you sound more clear when you do this.
Your vocal primer has changed my life! I can feel my voice getting stronger. However, Is it okay that my voice tends to fry sometimes when transitioning to mix and head voice? This happens when I am completely relaxed and tension free when warming up. Thanks Sophie!
Ben Samaha it took me not too long, but here are some tips to help you that ive learned: 1. Open mouth more to relieve tension (dont try to keep your mouth too small) 2. Sing quieter at first when doing warmups to help your chords build muscle without tension (this helped my vocal fry a lot Hope this helps!
You need to post more girl! I've been watching vocal videos for so long and you're my favorite by far.

TheHollywoodKid how long did it take you to develop a mix?

TheHollywoodKid how long did the primer take to ship?
i think that's false chord not fry does it sound distorted?
Yes! That is good actually. I prefer that over a big break. Eventually you won't need to fry. But it's totally healthy to do so.
you are very good looking woman...and great teacher...:)
