Thanks for the video! One thing you didn't address at all, which I find important and I see doesn't appear in either of the two options you presented, is an additional parental monitor unit, without having to rely on the cell phone. I'm looking for a monitor that I can watch even if I happen to be using my phone for other things, or that I can give to other people who might be watching the baby like family or a babysitter, etc., without them having to download an app themselves and start setting it up and all that mess. If you happen to have any recommendations for such a model, I would love to hear it. Thanks (PS - the link to the MUBVIEW camera that you gave is not the right link or maybe it is not updated, but it opens a completely different product for me).
@@doronyf yes! Great thoughts! Re: secondary display - since the app can be shared with others - what we usually do is either use a spare device (old iPhone or iPad) and install the app on there and then people can see it there. You could also use an Alexa or Google assistant display unit to view the feed on there if you have any of those products. As you mentioned, we’ve also gone down the path and changed the password, then shared the app with a babysitter or family so they could log in from their own device and view the feed, then change the password back afterwards. Some other cameras like Wyze allow you to share the feed temporarily with other people so you don’t have to share login credentials with them, which is safer. I don’t know of a model that has a WiFi connection and a separate parent monitoring unit but maybe others might have some ideas! I’ll do some research and will let you know if I come across any. And thank you for letting me know about the broken link! I’ll get that fixed asap.
Oh no! Good catch. It looks like they updated their pricing. I've included another good option in the description above. But I think the main point that I found was that any standard indoor camera that you prefer should be able to provide the required functionality that you might need :) Thank you so much for sharing the update!
Man this deserves way more views!! Definitely sharing this to all my friends 😆
I won’t disagree with that! 😅
