Hi! Thanks again for an informative video! Would using boiled tap water do anything to help slow down the limescale buildup? Or is it better to use Brita filtered water? I might be too lazy to do either, and might just end up using straight tap water 😂 but just wondering which is better for avoiding buildup. Thanks!
@@ButteredFlied hi! Neither method will slow down the timescale build up because they don’t remove calcium or magnesium in the water which are the main contributors to timescale buildup. Boiling water will sterilize the water by killing bacteria and viruses. The Brita filter will not kill any bacteria or viruses but it will partially remove some heavy metals like lead or mercury. It will also remove some chlorine and improve the taste/smell of water. So, both are equally as effective with respect to avoiding limescale build up. Since the machine has a sterlization mode, maybe the Brita filter or just regular tap water should be fine?
@ got it! Come to think of it, I’m not using any special water when I wash bottles by hand lol. so I guess just tap water will be fine as long as I descale with vinegar as needed. Thanks!
@ exactly! You have the right idea!
Hi how do you use these tumblers if we cant mix chilled milk with freshly pumped?
@@meisj great question, with the Momcozy cooler, there are two separate bottles so you can do that at least twice. An alternative is that instead of using the bottles, you could replace them with milk storage bags and put those into the product and you should be able to fit 3-4 bags that way depending on how much is pumped.
I have been using my washer everyday all day since August and I just got an error saying no water yet the tank is full and the washer had already ingested about 1/3 of the tank. I unplugged it, made sure nothing was blocking the tank nob at the bottom and tried adding vinegar to it yet I am still getting this error. Any thoughts?
@@Silverstar1717 I haven’t encountered or heard of this issue yet unfortunately. I would contact support@momcozy.com directly and hopefully they can help. Please let us know what you find out!
Is it really free or do they charge your insurance? 😊
It came with 60 tablets not 120. But you can buy 120 after
@@TondalOfficial yes! I misspoke in the video and you’re absolutely right. Thanks so much!
At $300+ to wash only 4 bottles at a time, you’d probably have to wash 2x/day for all bottles you’ve used. Plus if you plan to ebf, you also have those parts which add to another Wash session. Granted that it’s prob more useful for those older babies as they eat more solids less bottles. I’d rather wash the 4 bottles and use a sterilizer-dryer/storage product that one of them has. I really really wanted this type of product but I can’t justify the cost to the capacity and usage amount. 😅
Love my baby breeza product!! I just use my longer rod! Use it multiple times all day long and no issues!
@@favanigwe sounds good! I’m glad the BB is working out for you!
You need distilled water correct? Can add up to a lot of money
@@aslamw9770 great question. It’s not required. We use purified tap water and you can use tap water just like a normal dishwasher.
Momcozy seems so much better except for the fact it doesn’t have a dirty water chamber. Having to run a dirty water hose into the sink is so tacky
@@thomasc6127 both units have their pros and cons, so definitely go with what you feel most comfortable with!
I think it’s nice. I don’t have it but the way it’s shown here it looks like you can remove the hose from the sink when not in use. And I don’t think it is powerfully enough to splash the dirty water. With a chamber, you’ll have to dump it in which it has a higher chance of splashing dirty water. I’m not buying, but since I’m getting glass bottles I think I may just use my own dishwasher and use a counter sterilizer/dryer combo.
this was such a good video! i’ve been having issues using regular soap to clean my washer, i’m going to try the vinegar later today! thank you
@@avarobillard8019 yes! Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!
Thanks for the review. It was quite informative. I am just curious to know why you've stated multiple times that it's the first camera you know that supports wi-fi and offline connection at the same time, while there had been devices like this for a while (like Philips Avent SCD923/26). It's a bit misleading or your research wasn't quite complete at the time of the video release.

The only improvent I would like to see is a model that can hold a bit more bottles. Maybe 6-8 if possible with the same form factor. I was slightly dissapointed It can only hold 4 bottles at a time.
@@VideoStalker00 thanks for leaving a comment! I completely see where you’re coming from. You can potentially put in eight bottles if you stick four bottles on the corner stems. We’ll struggle with fitting all of the smaller parts onto the top rack, but we have tried that a few times. You can also fit four bottles and one set of pumping equipment pretty well if that is relevant for you. I’ll definitely pass this feedback onto Momcozy and see if they might be working on a larger version.
@@DadLifePGH Thanks, yeah I started doing that so that we can get as much bottles as possible. So far we are loving it!

Wonder if the thread you insert in there cause enough cool air leakage in the ceres that’s why the cooling effect didn’t last long. Why don’t you test it by just putting the body temp breast milk in the cooler and measure it 24 hours later to see what’s the temp each of the milk has by the end of 24 hours to see which one hold the temp lower.
@@jadormycc8819 great question! I used the same technique by using the thin thermocouple on both products ao the leakage (if any) would have been similar in both cases so the results would be relatively the same if I had not used them. The same leakage would occur on both products. I could certainly also try doing the test you mentioned! For this test, I wanted to see how long it would *stay* cold and then identify the time in which the temp rose above the threshold so I needed a way to constantly measure the temperature to get that type of data and graph it. Hope that helps!
Does the standalone monitor connect to wifi as well, or is it only direct connection to the camera? Having the monitor connect over wifi would be a huge plus.
I believe in order to maintain a true "offline" option, the extra monitor doesn't connect to wifi, which makes sense... I've been able to get very good range with the extra monitor, being 2 floors away from the camera and still getting good signal if that helps!
Tubby Todd definitely didn’t work for our baby. Made her skin worse. We use bubbsi brand we buy online. It’s not specifically for eczema but works great for us!
@@egee1010 thanks for sharing you experience! It definitely seems like it works well for some but not for others. I’ll check out the bubbsi product if we need it!
I just wanna say with eczema, I live in a dry/cold climate and have tried it all. I did research when my baby had it on her cheeks, and really found that going to the dermatologist and getting a steroid cream that cures the wound is very important and can prevent future issues. Eczema is a three part problem, the itch, the wound, and the dry skin, so if the kiddo scratches until there’s a wound, a prescription ointment is very important to heal it quickly and stop the itch and prevent infection. And then creams to prevent dry skin can be used after that. My dermatologist explained that restoring the skin barrier is important early on for babies and can actually prevent future flares. I haven’t had another flare since babyhood and my little girl is 8 now ❤
Yes! That's what we learned as well and I'm so glad that you haven't had a large up since babyhood!

What’s the best way to clean the water tank and lids?
@@SailorV13 you can either hand wash or wash them in your dishwasher!
I’ll buy the mamacozy when they have a water waste chamber. It seems like a food product except you need a hose to be next to the sink. What if you’re prepping raw food? It’s taking up prepping space and can be contaminated with stuff in the sink then I have to wash that tube too.
@@jadormycc8819 yes, you might want to wait if this is your main concern! Depending on your setup, it may take up prep space. We put ours on the opposite side of the sink from our prep space so there isn’t a chance of cross contamination while we’re prepping food, but that’s just our situation. As for the tube, while it’s in the sink, it’s primarily for waste water to flow out of the tube and into the sink. There is no way for any contamination from the sink to flow back through the tube aim to the unit so I haven’t seen the need to wash the tube, but that’s certainly up to you! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
Great review. Thank you
@@toddrh88 thanks for the feedback! 🙏🏻
I was wondering what you think about other smart cribs, specifically Cradlewise. I saw that it "grows" with the baby and can transform from a bassinet to a crib. I read that children can use it from newborn up to 2 years old. I'd love to know if you think it is worth the price tag.
@@stephanyorellana7452 to be honest, we don’t use one because we decided to get a floor bed earlier than expected for our kid once they started to move around independently (around 1.5 yrs old?). But if you plan to use the Cradlewise up to 2 years old, as long as you have a plan to wean them off of the rocking motions that can be super helpful, then I don’t see a reason not to get one!
I ordered a Snoo in the Black Friday sale and saved hundreds on the crib plus a few freebies like mobile, sleep sack, etc. The website says, A FREE 9-month Premium Subscription will be included with all authorised SNOO purchases. So, I won’t pay for the premium features since it is included. We are planning to have a second baby and will keep the Snoo for that child as well. If it provides an extra pair of hands as it has been described, I feel that is good value for money.
@@smcgowen877 that’s really great to hear that you were able to get the free 9 month subscription! I will be interested to see if you’ll need any of the premium features after 9 months but maybe you won’t need them which will be good! I'd personally stay away from the popular name brands lotions. Sodium Benzoate plus Citric Acid = possible carcinogen. Not something I'd put on my infant.
