    I’m 6’3” so I hated hip throws. So my kits coach showed me the 1st throw here but wish someone would have taught me that last one.

    the lapel changes things and makes your grips far more "final"... I remember arguing with the point because street clothes just don't react the same way that a Gi does

    Sensei, for no-gi BJJ, various turning throws (be it head&arm/kubi nage, arm throws/seoi nage or hip throws/ogoshi) are incredibly rare in competition.
    Do you think this is because a lack of skill, or are they just too low percentage and high risk (back gets taken) to truly rely on?

    nowadays Judo must be about NO GI throws because it is almost impossible to do traditional kumikata

      I think it should include gi and no gi techniques, just like on bjj clases you have gi and no gi sessions.

    These throws are Terrible. They rely on improbable angles, and leave you on your knees in front of your opponent if you happen to miss, which is quite likely. Demonstration is fast and sloppy. SMH.
