Batman is famous for his numerous relationships. However, many of those relationships didn't last much longer due to the shortcomings and busy schedule of the Dark Knight. Regardless of the duration, there were five relationships that happened with the Girlfriends of Batman's fellow Justice Leaguers where Batman took it to the next level by sleeping with them.

And if Injustice has taught us anything it's that Superman may not always be the boy scout people think he is. Hell, Batman has a contingency plan for that very scenario. Also, just because Batman has proven to be smarter than Superman doesn't mean he fears Batman. Batman once outwitted Darkseid too, and he definitely doesn't fear Batman.

Batman was trained in escapology and misdirection by Giovani Zatara, Zatanna Zatara's father. So he probably saw her first through her father's eyes, and has that kind of protective feeling towards her mixed in with the attraction and romantic feelings. It makes it complicated when you're falling in love with someone, and simultaneously feel a need to protect her because she's the daughter of an old friend and mentor who's passed away (Zatara gave his life in battle against a mystic opponent -- he had the same powers Zatanna has).
Side note: Zatara (premiering in 1938) was basically DC's version of Mandrake the Magician (premiering in 1934). The main difference was that almost all of Mandrake's feats were accomplished by his control over his own body and his skill at hypnosis (so he might paralyze someone by making them believe they'd been ensnared by a conjured snake or an animated rope, but the snake or rope only existed in their mind) who used high-tech gadgets and his father's hat, cape, and cane (which he eventually discovered had actual mystical powers). Zatara was an actual sorcerer who could create real physical effects. Mandrake was American of British descent, whereas Zatara was a first-generation Italian-American with Romani ("gypsy") heritage, which was unusual for the era.
Basically, Mandrake, like Doc Savage, was a character with one foot in the realm of pulp fiction heroes and heroic normal people (like the Lone Ranger or his grand-nephew the Green Hornet) and one foot in the realm of the superhuman. Zatara, coming around a few years later, was a fully superhuman character who used real magic to pretend to be a stage magician.

Bats feel more protective toward Zatanna than Diana that's why It is easy for him to be with Diana as he know she can handle many fights but actually Zatanna's power is not fully disclosed.

In Superman TAS, Lois rejected the relationship after learning Bruce was Batman, not just because they were in two different cities...she was thinking about moving before she found out he was Batman. As Clark says: She likes Btuce Wayne and she likes Superman, its the other two guys shes not fond of.
Which is something i dislike about the DCAU, considering in all her other iterations she loves Clark Kent more than she does the Supes.
I'd like to point out the Barbra Gordon bit about her being pregnant 1 in the killing joke, its never stated she was pregnant (she did get crippled and have it become a permanent part of her character for a long time, only recently "healing"), and in Beyond 2.0 she was fighting the thugs and got kicked in the abdomen so hard she miscarried. (Personally, I don't think this was a great way to handle it, but they have to make sure Damian is the only blood relation to Batman otherwise they would have to explain away this kid to make the Batman beyond show not have a weird plot hole.)
Beyond 2.0 just really seemed to not know what to do with the whole Bruce/Barbara thing to me. Not only the whole baby thing but also the comic has them cheating on Dick which the show was pretty clear didn't happen.

It makes sense. After the death of his parents he overcompensates by trying to have as many “relationships” as possible, while also remaining uncommitted due to the trauma and fear of potential loss. He probably won’t be able to open himself up to another person ever again, especially if you consider the constant danger that surrounds the people he associates with.

You're half-right he did not frivolously have affairs with these women. How did the killing joke movie manage to be more gross than Frank Miller.
It was based on a comic written by Alan Moore, who's always grosser than Frank Miller, which is a real challenge.

@@leephillips4402 I could write an entire catalogue of all of the weird sexual stuff in Moore's comics--everything from fetishes, to rape, to BDSM, to human-demon sex, sex with multiple partners simultaneously, etc. THE KILLING JOKE may be almost mild compared to some of Moore's wilder stuff, but he's definitely kind of a perv in his writings. There's actually a lot less sex in Frank Miller's stuff, but some people find his violence or social viewpoints provoking.

While WonderBat is the ship that I support the most for Bruce based on its chances of actually happening, Zatanna will always be the ship I truly wished it would have sailed back in the mid 2000's. Zee could've been to Bruce what Dinah is to Ollie by now had DC not decide to sink the ship in order to save BatCat. I still love WonderBat almost as much as I love Bruce/Zee so hopefully that gets the chance to shine. Bruce/Zee was actually referenced both in Tynion's Detective run in Rebirth, and very recently in Batman B/W #3.
