Aka a brake stopper. I run one but personally I think it's a mod you only get the benefits from when you have good discs and pads. I suppose they are cheap though do still worth doing

Yo TJ, which flywheel/clutch setup is selena rocking? My G just got a JWT setup installed and it's really good. Definitely recommend it if you're ever looking for a new setup.

The master cylinder doesn't flex, when the brake booster assists your braking force, it moves the master cylinder a bit. So I assume the brace just holds it in place so the brake booster can assist you ALITTLE better because the master cylinder wont move away when the booster is doing its job.

he is so right about keeping up with your oil in your 350z
the squishy brake feel is more likely from your flexi hoses. upgrade them with goodrich braided stainless steal ones and change the fluid. that will cost less and give a bigger benefit.

A good tip is to always remember to change out the washer on the oil drain, a lot of cars use a crush type washer which creates a really tight seal but is usually only good for one use, and you dont want oil leaking out from your pan. Theyre only a couple cents apiece and you can usually get them in bulk straight from a dealer!
I found this out through ProjectBRZAus, simple mod with minimal work effort to set up. Wont make your breaks any better, it just tightens the response without the sponge-feel.

EH! I after almost 9 years of Z ownership found a OEM Clutch Slave Cylinder Heat Shield the other day!
That will help with clutch pedal feel buy shielding heat away from the SC and overheating the fluid.
I have a Wilwood Clutch MC with SS line all the way to the SC so I have rerouted the line away from the stock location beside the header.

Mushy brakes or "brake fade" is caused more from water being in the brake fluid than the master cylinder moving around. Get slotted carbon ceramic rotors with some ceramic brakes to dispel the heat.
