You really get to see how much of a good and skilled a drummer is by their solos . So many bands write their drum music for the drummer
Thank you so much Kristina! That was incredible! I'm 54 years old and my brother Ty was a drummer who introduced me to music at a very early age. When I was in elementary school he was practicing to guys like Neil Peart, Don Brewer, Bill Bruford, Nick Mason, Keith Moon, Terry Bozzio and later in life I continued listening to drummers of that caliber. It used to be that a handful of producers decided what bands got to record and get airplay on radio, but now with the internet we get to see artists such as yourself publish your own material and I'm very grateful for that because artists of your caliber should be known! Your solo was very original and wasn't copying anyone. I've watched your covers for years and you have eclectic tastes which you do flawlessly but copying and creating are two very different thing and you do both incredibly well! I hope this doesn't sound strange but I'm very proud of what you've achieved and I thank you for sharing this with the world!

The syncopation and timing changes in the entire solo/song was fun to watch and hear.
I'm getting a bit jealous, as a drummer myself who hasn't played in many a year (no kit ☹️), you make even an original solo look simple.
You should have given it a name.
Still, just a fine job of creation.

...one extra thing I want to say after watching a second time. I think it’s great how she highlights each piece of equipment individually. Especially the high-hat, the hh is so rarely used in other ways than just helping keep time for everyone else. Again, excellent job.

Hi ! I don't write so much commentaries on youtube. I just wanted to said to you that I really like your drumming style.
I am not a professional, I just have my first drum set (an electronic one because my neighbours will kill me) in july. I am 23 years old. So it's a dream becoming true, I wanted a drum since I was 11.
When I need motivation I watch your videos and especially this one. It had the same effect all the time, I need to go back to my drum set to practice and have fun to improve myself.
You often said that it's possible to reach your level or to go further. Thank you for that, it makes me hope to improve my drumming and to have more fun !
This drum solo is completely incredible. You put technical to the service of the music without trying showing too much. The balance between technical and musicality is so perfect ! I loved all the parts but my favorite is the last one, very sophisticated !
I really hope that it's not too late at 23 to began playing drums.

What I enjoyed most about this is that it was a MUSICAL drum solo. It wasn't just flash of technical skills. Innovative, groovy, fun, some technical stuff but it served the piece as a whole. As always your enthusiasm shines through which is an absolute joy to see and hear. I laughed out loud when you said this is in honor of Neil Peart because when I was listening to it I actually thought "this sounds like somethings Neil would do." You nailed it! That was a beautiful piece. Keep on jammin' and thank you for sharing your talent with us.
