hmmm a 67 that somebody threw on a shelby hood , trunk lid, stripes and wheels.......it is a pretty car but it even falls short of being a clone, just a modded 67 mustang but it is an S code.
so the original owner went to the expense of adding the Shelby back end and rims, but didn't pony up for the front end?! Womp-womp. Shelby didn't even make a convertible GT500 in '67, but he did do up a fastback... The LEAST the original owner could have done was to complete the Shelby package.
Actually, Shelby did build one....and ONLY ONE. The was only (1) '67 GT500 Convertible ever built. It's the ONLY one that exists. There is a video of it on RUclips! The car was an Experimental Engineering Test Mule for Shelby Styling and Shelby himself actually drove the car quite a bit. The thing that I don't like about this '67 Shelby Clone is that it doesn't use a fiberglass '67 Shelby front end. It just uses the standard steel '67 Mustang Front end. The previous owner cheapened out when building the car. Also, The Rear Taillight Panel should be Painted Argent Silver, NOT The same color of the car with White Stripes. :o) Tony K.
@@nefaurora I am completely baffled that you and I believe another person as well said there was only one (1) 67 Shelby convertible made. I am not disputing your comment. A friend of mine had gone to a private school for grade 13 and I got to know some of his friends. One was a year or so younger than us and she had a XR 7 Cougar and her older sister who I got to know had a Mach 1. The older brother, whose name I truly forget, had 2 cars. One was a 67 Shelby 500 convertible with a black roll bar. (428 CID - automatic). He also had an official Austin Healey pace car in black velvet. Anyway, my sister had a 1970 all white Challenger Convertible 383 CID (not the R/T) but it I could use it. I traded with the brother for the weekend and had I owned the Challenger, we both agreed we would have traded. Of course everyone moved on in life. Last I heard, they all moved to Newfoundland. Maybe I am mistaken but I swear he had a Mustang Shelby. Could I be wrong about his actually being a Mustang Shelby
Very pretty car, I would put it back to a Mustang though and remove the Shelby parts.
So this is a clone? Because my understanding is Shelby only made 1 convertible for 67? Then went out of business.
the lights are fake

It might be fake but it sure looks gorgeous.
yes it did
Sweet sweet ride.
Side markers make it a '68. Unless they were part of the modification.
Bet ya that car has some form ..
So, no Shelby tag, which means you are driving around an imposter. Every time someone asks, you will have to say "no, this is not a real Shelby"
Should be calling it a tribute car

There is one 67 GT500 convertible that surfaced recently
If you're gonna spend the time cloning a shelby make sure it's a year they actually built a shelby GT500, didn't exist in a 67 convertible
Bridges Terrel. Actually there was one and only one Shelby GT 500 convertible built for 1967.

@@bryanreingold6241 there was only one 67 shelby convertible, sn 0139. Thats it.
They didn't even do the full conversion. Waste.
Shelby didn't build at Convertible in 1967. Screams fake and you aren't impressing anyone.
I mean tork
