This looks yummy and you guys look so cutee as a couple! My husband and I usually use our leftover rice to make nasi goreng so the texture won't be too mushy, but yall did a great job too! (btw, i'm so jealous that you guys have a lot of asian grocery stores in there. We only have few of them in Framingham MA and that's just disappointing lol) Persian dish next 😍
Wow! Thank you so much for watching the video and taking the time to write this thoughtful comment. I agree, overnight rice makes such a difference when making nasi goreng - what else do you put when you make yours? Agreed, we only have 1 Indonesian restaurant (though I think that’s a luxury) here in Seattle, and just had 1 Indonesian grocery store open up.
@@MalikiCharm Absolutely! We love your videos so much! we’ve been subscribing since day one, I think 😊 My husband and I are both Indonesian, and we really enjoy seeing another perspective of ndonesians living in the States, especially in different states. Your content is fantastic, keep up the good work! For nasi goreng, we usually add beef sausage, eggs, fried shallots (bawang goreng), and sometimes Spam. These are our go-to 🍳
@@MalikiCharm that's pretty far away from connecticut. I think we only have 1 here in Boston, but it’s not as good as the ones in New York. If you’re ever in Philadelphia though, they have 'Kampung Indonesia' with lots of amazing Indonesian restaurants!
