Yep, that was a blessing because we’re dealing with this at our apartment right now. Landlords are not helping out whatsoever so it looks like I may have to apply the solution myself. Thank you for this great knowledge and insight!
Thanks for the vent sweating issues. I pray that it works. Our house has been under water twice. We've replaced the walls throughout and are still having mold issues. God Help Us!? 😘💜💯
Thank you so much for this video. I do have black areas around my registers in my ceiling. I live in Fl, have very high ceilings in the main living areas. I did take off the registers to replace them and clean the ceiling. I noticed some of the inside of the areas behind the registers have a thin layer of insulation, some of them are black. We run a dehumidifier in the house, trying to keep the humidity under 60%. Can you advise me how to replace the insulation that has turned black inside these boxes? Thank you again, God bless you!
Thanks for the info, Bob. We just discovered mildew/mold around one register in our living room. 4 story house so reaching it from top side is out of the question. We’ve owned lots of houses in the south (high humidity) over our 30 years and have never seen anything like it. Why do you only one of our many registers would have mildew around?
Air exchange is the the issue not the vent cut the bottoms of doors to 1 1/2 in of air gap Air balance is the number one thing that these new and old ac guys don’t do just slap it in and get paid Thanks for your attempt
Yeah, I'm not sure what that comment means either. When you undercut the interior doors, you are helping with balancing zone pressures from room-to-room. Not sure what else they were trying to say...
Hi, thanks for your comment, and for watching my video! As you can see, my camera (phone) is hands free so it's literally like talking to someone in the car while I'm driving.
Thank you for taking time to post your professional advice about sweaty vent . May God bless your business!

Thank you, very informative video. Can you show us how you also insulate the boots?
Hi there, thanks for your question. We use closed cell spray foam to insulate exposed sheetmetal boots.

Aluminum Soda Can Condensation,
Quit using thick over priced 1 inch pleated filters in your ac, it slows down air flow too much and cause too cold of air because lack of air flow.
What's the alternative to those filters? Do you have a recommendation?
