      Don't take money to review products if you value your credibility. Once you go down that road any review you do will be suspect. At that point you are no longer a reviewer but someone making a paid promotion where you may or may not be allowed to say what you really think, compare the product to others, or possibly even mention the product in reviewing similar products in other videos.

      @@NuncNuncNuncNunc That’s why you don’t say yes to things that don’t match who you are and your beliefs. There’s nothing wrong with entering into a business arrangement to promote a product you genuinely like and believe in.

    I started watching your channel because of your pop punk Disney covers & stuck around because of your storytelling videos. Stoked to see more content to come.

    Shoutout to the QC PDF!! It is awesome, very detailed but also easy to set up. Used your template and tweaked some amps to my liking and couldn't be happier with the results! Keep up the good work Justin!

    This is a really helpful video. I have been thinking about this for a long time. I have a full time job, so I don’t have much time to make videos or grow a channel. This was very eye-opening regarding the reality of the business.

    • @JustinMuncy
      @JustinMuncy  Год назад

      Thanks!! I’m glad I could offer some insight. It’s definitely a challenge to work full-time and do RUclips simultaneously. But if it’s worth it to you to pursue, I’d say just post what you can, when you can, and enjoy the ride. The growth might be a little slower, or heck, you could get lucky and have a viral video. You never know unless you try- :)

    love seeing this type of insight for sure. as a fellow guitar content creator, i do feel at times it can feel impossible to get a video out that feels fresh in such a competitive market with amazing players, but i love the feeling of getting new ideas i think people would love out

    • @JustinMuncy
      @JustinMuncy  Год назад

      Thanks homie! I think what makes a video fresh is just you being you. Kind of like I mentioned in the video, when you hone in on what makes one of your videos indistinguishably you, it doesn’t matter if it’s the 100,000 video about the Helix. It’s your personality, style, and musicianship that make it unique. Keep doing the thing! You shred✌🏻🤘🏻

    I think focusing on the QC is a win. I've seen a lot of people asking about a pedalboard with the QC as the brain and the strymon bigsky and timeline in a FX loop and also at the end of the chain and how you can control their presets via midi in the QC. I'd love to see that. Also zoom out your face a bit ;)

    nice to see these kind of videos once in a while! i get to learn from your presentation of becoming a youtuber musician. Thanks for sharing your information!
    by the way, theres this thing called Extra Realism Impulse Response (XR IR) from Tone Factor. Could you do a review of those if it makes A LOT of difference? 😂

    • @JustinMuncy
      @JustinMuncy  Год назад

      Thanks for watching!! :)
      I’ll have to look into it! If they were to send me a copy of them, I’d definitely review it. I’m sure their stuff is great- What I’ve noticed in general is that external IR and capture packs can get you there quicker, but you can also get to the same landing spot with the built in stuff. It just takes more tweaking-

    Congratulations, Justin! Something to consider, Worship guitar Tone is actually pretty elusive, and there are literally tens of thousands of players in this space. That is how I originally found your channel. Content showcasing gain staging, pedal order, and what different parameters do in different effects can provide hours of content. The Lord will build his church. But we get to build our programs and pedal boards. Neat!
