Corvus Corax besides being able to turn completely Invisible physically (some say even Psykers can't detect him sometimes)
he is also able to now turn into warp smoke or ravens as somehow staying in the warp has given him ability to change his physical body now.
(he can be called a Loyalist Daemon Primarch cause he fits the description of being a warp entity but having a soul as well)
this is all according to latest lore...oh and he did beat the shit out of Lorgar who is really scared of him now.
I'm a little out of the loop. You say, "He is now able to". Has he come back to the main 40K timeline, or is your comment based on current events in the Siege of Terra series?
To my knowledge this event described happened closer to the end of the Horus Heresy than to the current timeline.

Corax is, atleast as far as i know, a separate entity. Spawned from the Emperor, yes, but not empowered by him. It is Corvus's own willpower, strenght or whatever that allows him to do this.

This is extremely on point with Corvax, not only is he 2nd in magical ability to Magnus the Red, but even in the 41st Millenium, his fortress is still booby trapped enough that the Imperium will shoot ANYONE who enters the system. Even the Mechanicum back then have blurred memories of WHY they built it?!
