    Thank you! It's a relief to hear that what I bought was what I was hoping I was getting for my next trip. I was hoping that I would have access to every picture that gets taken there. I usually hate getting my picture taken but I've realized that this just makes it look like I haven't been anywhere or done anything. And I want to have pictures of myself for later in life.

    Thanks for making this video. I'm planning a Disney trip soon and trying to learn what Memory Maker/Photo Pass is all about. This video has been very useful. Watching part two next.

    This is such a helpful video. I'll be going to Disney World in the beginning of August and purchased memory maker. It's great to know the photographer will at least take a few (3-5 photos). My husband is not really into taking pictures so I want to take 1-2 solo pics and then 1-2 of us together since it's both of our first trip to Disney ever. I will definitely ask if we can get those magic shot too if they offer. Sounds fun!

    I am actually so excited and happy that I made the decision to buy this. The reason behind this was because I am going to Disney November 8 for my son’s fifth birthday. It’s just me and him and to have to ask somebody every single time to take a picture of me and my son, and make sure that they get the best quality photo Especially in places like the castle in Magic Kingdom, or the tree of life is going to be really hard. I’m also not so trustworthy of handing my phone to somebody plus if my phone dies then how do I know I’m going to get the best quality photos. I’m planning on printing a bunch of them out and making a Disney book for my son, so that he could always have these memories and flip through them and the fact that I can save them and upload them onto the Internet to share with family and friends is incredible to me.

    One question I have is do they take really good photos in front of Cinderella‘s castle. That is something that I want really badly and I want to frame in my house with me and my son as a memory. I’m also really wanting to frame a photo of me and my son in front of the tree of life my son is really into lion guard and the tree of life is a really big part of it. That’s gonna be really exciting for him to see obviously the Disney castle is not as special for boys, but he is still so excited to see it because I’ve been talking about it for months and showing him videos on RUclips.

    My mother and I are going to be attending the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party next month and we’ve never been to Disney before so photos would be perfect. However, we’re a little confused. Since we’re both adults do we both have to buy memory maker in order to get the photos and all that? Or can just one of us get it? Also, from what you said (just wanting to clarify), we can have our pictures taken without a pass or anything but need memory maker in order to download the pictures, right? Sorry about all the questions, I just get confused super easily and Disney is confusing! 😂

      @photographthemagic  Год назад

      Hi! Disney planning is so confusing! It’s like it’s own college course 😂 Only one of you will need to buy Memory Maker - you can go into the My Disney Experience app and add family/friends so that’s you can each see & download all the photos. I just did that with a friend in February and it worked great!
      And you are exactly right about the second question- you can have as many photos taken as you like - and you will see them in your Photos in the My Disney Experience app, but they will have a water mark across them, until you purchase memory maker :) I hope this helps! Have a great time at the Halloween party!!

    To add even more confusion that not many can or explain in youtube is about the included benefit from buying Genie+. In the Disney website they mention the following as an including benefit: "Download complimentary digital downloads of all of your Disney PhotoPass photos for each day you have the Genie+ service. Yes, that includes both attraction photos and photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers" If that is the case why people will buy Memory Maker if Genie+ is way cheaper and include all this? Still confused!

    • @photographthemagic
      @photographthemagic  5 месяцев назад

      Such a good question! From what I understand, photopass is included at Disneyland resort when you purchase Genie+, but not at Disney World. When you purchase Genie+ at Walt Disney World, you are able to use the PhotoPass lenses (very fun!) in the My Disney Experience app and download ride photos. PhotoPass photos (the photos taken by PhotoPass photographers on Main Street for example) are not included when you buy Genie+ at Walt Disney world 😃 I hope this helps!

    Thank you for your video. If I go two days in a row, do I have to buy two "Memory Maker one Day"?

    • @photographthemagic
      @photographthemagic  Год назад +1

      Hi! You can purchase memory maker for $169 if you buy at least 3 days before your trip - which will give you all of your photos if you are going for more than 2 days. But if you only going for 2 days (or only want photos from two days) then yes, you can buy the one day (twice!) and it would be $69 each day = $138. Hope this is helpful!! ✨✨✨

    Can I ask for magic shots without having purchased the photopass? Can you buy photos individual or purchase memory maker after the trip?

    • @photographthemagic
      @photographthemagic  10 месяцев назад

      Hi! Yes you can ask for magic shots without purchasing photopass! You can buy individual photos and photopass after the trip - the photopass package is just more expensive if you don’t buy it a few weeks before your trip 😊

    HI there. thank you for all the info. I'm trying to clarify..I purchased "photopass" for an extra 99$ with my annual pass. Is that the same as Memory Maker? It's all very confusing!

    • @photographthemagic
      @photographthemagic  Год назад

      Hi! Yes that is the same thing! And it is super confusing! It (memory maker) used to be included with the annual pass - but I think it’s still a good value for the year if you use it 😊😊

      Ok so back from my trip , was the photopass worth it hmmm kind of I guess. The special magic shot the one that zooms way out and in was a technical fail but never found out till I got home , I messaged disney and they said sorry nothing they could do. I did get a few good pictures from them however but worth the price I don't think so. One main thing I found was the line ups to get the pictures I spent half the day I would say waiting in lineups to have my picture taken in some spots , trick is to wait for middle of day and go try and get them then most people are off doing something else and the photographers are usually just standing around. All the photographers were nice and helpful and tried to get the best picture they could and took time with each individual till they were satisfied. Would I do it again No, I say do it once sure but you probably would not do it again.

    What happened if I don't have magic band? Only the tickets on the iPhone? I just read on the page this. Attraction Photos & Videos
    A MagicBand is required to receive attraction videos and certain attraction photos. Do you know something?

    • @photographthemagic
      @photographthemagic  2 года назад

      Hi Silvana!
      I found this information on the Disney Website - it looks like you can get your photos if you have the tickets on your phone. It says to be sure your Bluetooth is on. I would also check with a Castmember when you arrive to be sure you have it set up to get your photos! :)

      Hi! I just tried searching for it - using the magnifying glass - I searched for “memory maker” and clicked on the option “memory maker photo downloads” and it came up along with the one day purchase option and the full price option (if you buy within 3 days of your vacation or later). I hope this helps! 😊
