100% absolutely worth it. It's actually my top thing to do in Disney park capturing our family magical memories. Thank you again for sharing your story about your mum :( x
Hi Kari. This is a GREAT review of Memory Maker. Really helped me decide to purchase it. You are very clear about these tricky photo subjects, which are a Really Important part of a vacation / Family time / Family History. You should have at least 100,000 subscribers… (I just joined btw). Thanks for sharing. Blessings.
I think it's 100% worth it. But always make sure to use it. I think the extras with the ride photos are amazing. And just the magic shots are so much fun. I always say also look for a photographer that is having fun with the guests taking fun pictures. That can be a little more challenging now when the parks are busier. But some even have props. We usually stop if we see a photographer with no line. Those actually exist.
Ohh yes! This is all so true - and what awesome advice!! To find a photographer who is having fun with the guests - they are easy to see when it is happening! 👏🏼👏🏼
Would you suggest since I am staying at one of the Disney park hotels and get 30 minutes early into Magic Kingdom starting my day at the castle and getting a photo before it gets too crowded. The reason I ask is because I want a really good nice castle photo of me and my son that I can frame in my house.
Yes! Definitely! I always do early entry, walk up to the castle for my photos, then get back in like on the R side of the castle for early entry - it only takes a few minutes to get a great crowd free photo during that time! Good luck!
I’ll be buying it because I will be a solo traveller & don’t want to ask strangers to take the photos for me. I’ll feel less awkward posing for an official photographer too. So, if I want to buy the day photo pass I don’t have to do it ahead of time, i can buy it after the photos have been taken. Is that right?
Hi my name is Tony there are six of us in the group and five of us I’ve got the memory maker for $200 each we got it in a package deal when we bought the Disney park tickets I was just wondering can we use a memory maker in each park on different days because we have got five of them and thank you for your information I found this very helpful as we didn’t know much about it and we are looking forward to use it when we go on 5th of September thank you
Hi Tony! Oh I am excited for you - for your trip! If you purchased the Memory Maker (advanced Purchase) you will be able to use it for your entire trip - in each park you are at and even at Disney Springs! I have another video called PhotoPass and Memory maker you can check out that shares all the details! Have a magical vacation!!
Hi! Yes you can - I was trying to find the price per photo but I’m having a hard time finding that info! I know when you have your photo taken, the pics will have a water mark on them, but there is an option to purchase photos and gifts (like mugs, albums, etc), when you see the photos in the app. I believe the price is listed there - but yes, you can purchase only one or two photos :)
Hi!! I’m sorry it took me so long to respond! Yes, I do believe if you are on a desktop you can download one photo - you can double check with the Guest service cast members as well, in case anything has changed 😊
Yes- as long as you have purchased memory maker you can have the photopass photographers take your photo (actually, you don’t need to purchase it at all for them to take your photos - but you won’t be able to download them without a watermark until you purchase). So if you have purchased memory maker you should be good to go! Have a wonderful vacation! 😊
What a good point about getting a photo of the whole family. My family went to Disney when I was a teen and we have those same kinds of photos with not one that has everyone. And now I can’t recall that my dad was in any of them since he was the photographer.
Ohh - it’s so easy to rush through the day (because there are so many awesome things to see and do!) and forget about getting a photo with everyone! And yes, the family photographer usually gets left out :(

Aww thank you! Yes! Photos are my top priority when I am at a Disney park too! It makes the memories last longer 😊😊

Hi! Well, your comment made my day (week/month)!! 😊😊😊 Thank you for your kind words!
Very helpful! Thanks!

@@photographthemagic Thank you for your help I do appreciate it we are really looking forward to it we cannot wait
If you see someone else struggling to take a photo, you can offer to take the photo for them. Then you can ask for the same favor in return.
Yes! This is such a great tip!
Hi thank you for this. Do you have to have memorymaker just to purchase one or two pictures? In other words, can we purchase piecemeal?

Can you purchase just a single photo from the ones with the watermarks? As opposed to purchasing Memory Maker?
Hi!! I’m sorry it took me so long to respond! Yes, I do believe if you are on a desktop you can download one photo - you can double check with the Guest service cast members as well, in case anything has changed 😊
I enjoyed Photopass when it was included with the Annual Pass, but I am not sure I would get it now
It was such a great perk!! and a very good point!
If I purchased memory maker, will I automatically be able to ask photo pass photographers? Or shall I purchase photo pass separately?
Yes- as long as you have purchased memory maker you can have the photopass photographers take your photo (actually, you don’t need to purchase it at all for them to take your photos - but you won’t be able to download them without a watermark until you purchase). Have someone paint your family altogether.
