Happy new year. I like the original design too. But it's not hard for me to cheap out on pieces which are for myself. I could live happily with my TV planted on a couple of milk crates....hmmmm....that gives me an idea 😂

I really like the new camera shots I can get with GoPro too. In 20 years of doing this professionally, I've never looked at the cutting action of the blades this closely before. I want to get a super slow motion camera. Something like 10,000 frames per sec 😂

Hi Kuffy like you I didn’t like the boot 🥾 feet. Also when you showed a sketch of the bun feet I wasn’t sure I was thinking 🤔 maybe a splayed leg, but after seeing it now looks good, great job mate. Oh and Happy New Year 🥳

Happy new year. Splayed legs would have looked good too. But I like turning so when I thought of bun feet, there really was no stopping me. I don't like cleaning up after turning though. 20minutes to turn four feet, an hour to setup the lathe and clean it up again..Doh!

I agree with your summary Kuffy. I thought you first wanted a floating look. But then the feet became visible to the casual observer. Now you've changed them again to make them a feature.

I think floating look would be best, it's just a difficult thing to achieve without mounting it to a wall. If I can't hide them, they better look decent which I reckon the bun feet do look decent. 👍
