One of the greatest characters in television history, and you did a magnificent job of honoring him here. You brought a tear or two to my eyes. Thank you.
I always thought about this in the sense that it's not "people can change", but more like, "we eventually become who we were always meant to be, and that clues were always around".
The only disappointment for both Roy's and Jamie's story arc was that they ended up fighting for keyley. I didn't think it was necessary nor warranted. Both took huge steps and grew to better versions of themselves, I don't think either would have reverted to fighting with one another, nor try to get with keyley. Honestly, that for me made the ending dissatisfying, almost like none of their development mattered.
I was curious how they were going to resolve the whole Jamie-Keeley-Roy thing myself; I loved Roy and Keeley together, but I also kinda liked the possibility of Roy with Phoebe’s teacher so I was okay if that didn’t happen. And Jamie had matured emotionally so much, I wondered if he and Keeley might try again. But then I also thought, why does everyone have to end up with a partner in order for it to be considered a good ending to their story? Perhaps the writers thought that too. As for the fight, I think it showed that both guys are a still work in progress-no one changes overnight; it’s two steps forward, one step back. That’s more realistic, I think.
To me this was their final breaking point. The last point they needed to grow up. They were both selfish in their own ways and that situation flipped the switch for them
I agree with what people are saying that it was the last thing Jamie and Roy had to figure out, and also i think it was huge for Keyley, it was the moment that showed her amazing growth, she has been bound by her relationships the who show, first with Jamie, then Roy, and then Jack. It was her chance to show us that she was strong and independent, even as everything was changing, she didnt revert and go back to a safe place, she kept moving forward
Terrific, just terrific! One request - IF you ever consider making a v1.1 for this video - would you consider adding, "Shut up, just shut up; you had me at coach." to the mix?
Would that not make you a better person though? Physically, you can’t change that much. But mentally and spiritually? You can definitely change so much about yourself that you seem like a whole new person. That better self is a new person.
Loved the video, only thing you missed.... the "Fuck You" he gives once he is allowed into the stadium after getting the ticket from Reba Mcentire. I always thought that encapsulated Roy, caring but also an asshole. Either way, I love the video, well done.
I good ending in both Roy and a Jamie's growth would have been Jamie not pursuing Keyley and helps Roy get Keyley back as Roy helped Jamie get his love for football back. And seeing Jamie finding someone else and still being close with Roy and Keyley
You know i think i have watched this series via a load of unlinked clips and moments. Its quite a special one i think and I'm a bit gutted i never watched it.
Given his character arc I wish they would have had Nate say “Your speed and your anger where never what made you…..it was your smarts” since he goes on to become a great teacher and coach
I hope they make another tv show called "roy kent" or just another season of ted lasso, I'd love to see what they would do with a season of roy, beard, nate and all the other wonderful cast members
You are a talented video maker. If someone would watch this that hadn’t seen Ted Lasso, they would want to now! Kudos, what a fantastic 4 minutes this is! Thank you
He doesn’t allow himself to enjoy things when things get a bit difficult. It’s ruined relationships he’s been in. He doesn’t truly want to be alone. But he didn’t know that for a long time.
The evolution of Roy and Jamie’s relationship is one of my favorite parts of the show
I love that his story ended with him continuing to change.
One of the greatest characters in television history, and you did a magnificent job of honoring him here. You brought a tear or two to my eyes. Thank you.
I agree. I wish he would of included the line where he said like he ran like he was mad at the grass. I love that line!
One of the greatest written characters in tv history.
I always thought about this in the sense that it's not "people can change", but more like, "we eventually become who we were always meant to be, and that clues were always around".
I cry every time i hear them chant “ROY KENT! HEYS HERE HES THERE HES EVERY FUCKING WHERE ROY KENT”
Roy and phoebes relationship brings pure joy

Until she kicked both of them out. And they realized they were both idiots.

@@kekem1864pretty similar including Roy with Ms. Bowen, well written!

Don't let anyone ever tell you that video editing isn't an art form. Beautiful work.
This is beautiful, I love it. Fantastic job!
I love this...i watch it weekly... thank you ❤
Absolutely brilliant. Well done mate.
Terrific, just terrific! One request - IF you ever consider making a v1.1 for this video - would you consider adding, "Shut up, just shut up; you had me at coach." to the mix?
This is a work of art, friend.
BUT ROY KENT OPENING UP AND SAYING HE WATNED TO CHANGE!!!! He did that !!
Your Lasso edits are PERFECTION. More, please!!
Roy Kent in my world ends up with the teacher
oh that transition at 3:05 has me in tears 😭 thank you so much for this
HOLY SH*T that was so beautiful!
I cried at that part, this is art ffs
people dont change into new people
they improve into a better self
Would that not make you a better person though? Physically, you can’t change that much. But mentally and spiritually? You can definitely change so much about yourself that you seem like a whole new person. That better self is a new person.

You gotta do Nate!
Goddamn I'd love to see a season 4

Nah, bromance is still better
You should do a whole ted lasso series on the main characters. Ted, Rebecca, Jamie, Keely and Sam.
I think they should do a spin off where Roy couches an American football team.
Thank you for this video mate, a grown ass man is crying tears of joy. This show makes me believe that shit can actually be better.
Great editing
As much as i loved Roy and Keeley, Miss Jones needed to find and focus on herself.
If I can change, and you can change, everybody can change!
-Rocky
nicely edited.
Thank you so much for doing these edits. I love them so much.
Roy Kent is certainly someone we can all learn from. Great work, thank you for sharing!
Perfect editing. Roy Kent is the character I didn't know I needed in my life.
And as the great Roy Kent would say "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK"
❤❤❤❤❤❤
what an edit 👏
Just stellar video. I can't read what I'm typing.
These edits are awesome! Keep them coming!
I prefer evolve. People evolve from birth. So all people change.
That was wonderful!
this editing is so great!!
God damn who made this😢
You know i think i have watched this series via a load of unlinked clips and moments. Its quite a special one i think and I'm a bit gutted i never watched it.
Another fantastic edit! Well done, this is awesome and was great to watch!
Best video on youtube. Well done
1 of the best video ever! 🎉❤
Great montage. ❤
Your videos are incredible, well done
I love the arc of Roy Kent, although I think the Keeley storyline was completely unnecessary.
wow, incredible video. Loved every second
🙌🙌🙌 Another smash, you. Thanks for putting these together.
Roy is my spirit animal
Please make these forever.
Damn, you hit me right in the feels with this one
This is so good 🔥🔥🔥
I want a Nate video :D
How does a video make you cry!! 😢
Given his character arc I wish they would have had Nate say “Your speed and your anger where never what made you…..it was your smarts” since he goes on to become a great teacher and coach
You could also say it was his heart.
Hate how there wasn’t another season and they rushed the end
WHAT THE HELL İS THAT,THİS İS PERFECT EDİT BRO
I hope they make another tv show called "roy kent" or just another season of ted lasso, I'd love to see what they would do with a season of roy, beard, nate and all the other wonderful cast members

That montage was beautiful. The music overlay made it so much better.
1:55 Yeah, someone better 😭😭😭
Why would he change, the world needs Roy Kents
He doesn’t allow himself to enjoy things when things get a bit difficult. It’s ruined relationships he’s been in. He doesn’t truly want to be alone. But he didn’t know that for a long time.
@@Rolando14001 Well said.
Such a great show. Miss it lots.
THESE PARALLELS MAN 😭
Colour me broken
