I was at that game back in '88...at the end the decibel meter was OFF THE CHART! Being a Hornets fan in their opening seasons was amazing...I think the Hornets still hold the record for the number of sellout games.

I remember watching this game live. I was pissed the Bulls lost their first ever matchup with the then expansion Hornets, but Chicago beat the shit outta Charlotte for like the next 20 games straight. IIRC, the Bulls didn't lose again to the Hornets until they got Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning.
