That was his 4th year in the league and he was already so versatile. We can see here basically the whole repertoire of moves - jumpshots, drives, layups, dunks. His game was so complete and he was almost all over the place stealing the ball and double teaming.
Thanks for the upload. Do you have the second 88 game that the Bulls played at Charlotte? The one with that crazy, fastbreak dunk through and over 4 of the Hornets?
apparently at that time, if u hit the backboard with a shot (even if no rim) it was a legit shot and there was no violation. rambis' first tap beat the shot clock and his lay in beat the game buzzer. vintage rambis hustle got the game-winner. :-)
Good game for MJ in front of his North Carolinians.......but the hornets never made the playoffs and the Bulls faced the Bad Boys in the ECF in that season.
4:54 don't think I ever seen Mike do a "killer" crossover like that
Your collection is awesome. Will you upload some more rare highlights of Jordan anytime soon?
I remember the old Charlotte coliseum it used to seat about 24,000 people and the hornets sold out EVERY game their first few seasons

88-89 was his 5th year.
I just cracked up watching MJ stuff on Curt Rambis. Curt Rambis! Cheers....

That rule changed in the early 90's.

4:56 old school "got ya'beat"
another day at the office for the legend
I've been looking for this full game for years. Can anyone help me out? Thanks for the upload!
4:58 "SHIT!"

This one is different*
No shot clock violation?
The referees said that Rambis' first tip attempt hit the backboard constituting a shot and resetting the clock.
IS THIS THE GAME WHEN HE DUNKED ON KELLY TRIPUKA??
Milo Tucker I think so
