Very underrated comment, agree 100%. I would add that Jordan was the main focal point in the triangle which put him in the post. If he needed to be a 40% three point shooter he would have done it. His midrange is an example of his shooting touch. Non basketball casuals argue that 3 point bs.

This is what was great when I was growing up. Just knowing you're going to win I mean everybody in my neighborhood we all knew we were going to win. I haven't had that feeling since 1998. Don't get me wrong I believe if Derrick Rose doesn't get hurt we might have won a championship with that team. But not the same feeling with Jordan we just knew we were going to win. Great feeling!!!!

I was watching games right at the tail end of the 80s going into 1990 and the story on Jordan then in the press was how people doubted he could ever lead any team to a Championship and how the pistons were clearly a better team. It’s amazing how just a few years later the Bulls were this juggernaut and kids like you just knew they were going to win. It’s legitimately fascinating to think about. Some of us watched the Pistons rip our hearts out multiple years in a row and just a few years later we knew MJ and co would surely dominate.
