I've been a machinist for 21 years. I recently got floorboard extenders and tank lift kit. Granted i can't see the actual raw parts due to being powdered coated. But everything seems to be good quality. Everything fit perfect and is holding up great.

What is your opinion on Harley having lifetime warranty on engine and transmission.
Sounds like a trick question to me. lol
Harley-Davidson does not have a lifetime warranty on their engine or transmission. If they did, and it worked, that would be great.
There are some Harley Dealerships that offer a lifetime warranty...but that is the Dealership warrantying it, not Harley Davidson.
Some folks have had good experience with it, others, not so much.
Some Dealerships offer this as an incentive for you to buy from them instead of another Dealership...usually, but not always, their sale price is higher to cover the cost.

Woah. I had purchased a EBS catch can from you guys many years ago. ( I think 6-7). Needed to replace the inside parts and somebody there said not available and I paid full price for the new can with the foam and plastic inserts.
I am so sorry that that happened! I apologize that you were not better taken care of! When did someone tell you that we do not have refresh kits for the Catch Can?
@DKCustomProducts It's actually been several years ago. I was just trying to purchase the EBS catch can replacement refill filter (foam and plastic ). It's not a huge deal. You guys have sold me many things and they are very good quality.

Have you ever considered doing a solid motor mount setup for the 04 and up rubber mounted sportsters?
I have lowbrow customs installed(don't get wrong, i do like them), but I feel like the kit is incomplete, like it is missing spacers or the like. I'm not getting my swing arm to be straight and true.
I don't want to be replacing rubber ones every 40k km's (25k miles) and want the "cement mixer" shake that a Harley is meant to have.
Unfortunately, that is not something we have any plans to do in the future. Maybe you can check HD forums to see if any one on there has any good information for you.
Have you contacted the company that installed them and told them of your concerns? If it was a part of ours, that you were not feeling 100% sure about, I would want to know so if there was a problem we could fix it for you. If may be worth it to contact them and tell them your concerns.

Forgot to mention the shocks will be for my tri-glide
For the newer model trikes we recommend the 13" combo package.
It is an easier install and you get the same amount of travel with the 13" NexGen as you would the 14". For the 2014 Trike it would be about the same getting either the 13" or 14" Shocks.
The difference would be the comfort mount you get with the 14" is a leveling kit so it doesn't give a lift and taking into consideration the sag you will have with a plusher shock you may also sit lower.
The Comfort lift with the 13" will offset that sag so you can maintain your ride height better while still getting the most comfort.

What do you think of sea foam products? I saw an article about a guy who put sea foam in his oil. Well I'm trying it on my M8. My engine has been sounding like it's crunching walnut shells, since my 1,000 mile oil change, full of oil! So I put 2 ounces in the crank case and drove to work. The noise is reduced, quicker power, engine didn't get so hot, so it sounds like I did something right. Then I'd like to add. I saw your product for extending the floorboards, Awesome, you really hit the nail on the head. I was wondering why my feet won't stay on the floor boards on my new Heritage. Now I know why! So you are going to be my 1st purchase, I hope. By the way I think you hyway pegs, are the best idea!
Kevin has used Sea Foam periodically, per the instructions, when he has gotten some bad fuel.
Sea Foam Spray is made from 100% safe petroleum cleaning and lubricating ingredients, so it can’t harm sensors, the catalytic converter, or anything else. Sea Foam Spray is used up in the combustion chamber so it’s all vaporized with the hot exhaust as everything is sent toward the tailpipe.

I detest buying Chinese parts so I dont. The items I have purchased from DK were the quality I was looking for and when it comes to shipping UPS hoses us for brokerage fees in Canada. The lady servicing my account assured me that wouldnt happen, that the shipping would be reasonable and she was, thankfully correct.

I will be getting your shocks and front suspension for my 2014 soon i am thinking of the 13 shocks with the comfort lift , what reason would 14 inch shocks be for my wife is around 130 and I am around 160 also I am Vietnam Era Vet( I served incountry at a SAC Base do you do Veterans or Seniour discounts and also thinking of putting one of your sportster style air cleaners beacuase of surface area on one of my evos do you make them for evo bt's

I have a question about your torque inserts. Using them, should i go for a stepped header or non stepped? Seems like it would matter.
Either way. Both stepped and non-stepped headers have reversion, and the TTI's are about reducing reversion, which increases exhaust gas velocity, which increase power and engine efficiency.

Yes, we have made a few systems, one can be seen and heard in the video linked below.
Also, we used to make exhaust kits, but as time went by, less and less folks were interested in doing any significant work to their bike, personally...at least when it came to assembling the exhaust, so we discontinued them.
And now the 3 letter agencies are enforcing emission controls on manufacturers...now, if a company makes a header for a Harley without a Catalytic Converter in it, they will be fined.
