I am actually kind of curious. I think he uses his body really well, but I could see him being much less effective in the 90s dominant big men were the corner stone of just about every good team. The court vision is obviously still gonna be there, but I think needing to go up against guys like Shaq or David Robinson would make his finishing and rebounding go down a good bit.

Jokic is the main reason I even still watch the NBA. He is a TRUE 1 of 1 generational talent that I may never see again in my lifetime. The term "makes his teammates better" is something that gets thrown around a lot but is actually only true with a few players in history. JOKIĆ is the MOST DISRESPECTED MVP by the REFS. HE GOT SLAUGHTERED everytime snd he only got 6 FT. MEANWHILE SGA IS getting that EMBIID TREATMENT every single time he gets a whistle. NUGGETS were awesome. CB is shooting with more confidence. Russ was amazing. He will not shoot 3s good everytime but for me not turning the ball over and cutting in open space is enough. MURRAY NEEDS to bring his ass in the good condition. Because nuggets are playing so good with faster pace. He is the one that slows down everyone. He needs to get back physicaly. He should watch this game from Russ and learn a thing or two. THE MOST important he needs to beat his guards off the dribble he needs to drive to the basket more, keep the defense on his heels like Russ. That and shooting. But for that he needs to be in top shape. He owes that to teammates especially Jokić and this organization that gave him 50 mil per year for NO ALL STAR APPEARANCE and 0 ALL NBA SELECTIONS.

Lmao😂😂😂😂 it's not even a debate. Literally Luka is hall of famer, not Jokic... Jokic is already too 15 player of all time. With another title we should argue wether or not he is greater than Hakeem eho is one of the greatest players and center who ever lived. If he somehow wins 3 rings with 3 finals MVPs... With those 3 rings he is already greater basketball player than both Steph Curry and Tim Duncan who are easily in top 10 because if somehow Jokic wins 3 championshipsx that would be easily the most insanee prime in NBA history, more dominant prime even than Shaq because since Jordan retired, nobody has surpassed him in per and box +/-. Jokic surpassed him in both of those categories and he is not even a 39 years old😂😂😂😂 he still isn't veteran. That's crazy. If he somehow wins 3 championships, nobody should debate between him and Lebron who is greater because answer is obvious and with 4 titles without a single all star player he would be my some people the greatest player of all time. I don't think he has a chance to win mire than 4 titles because simply he hasn't teammates in his career like Lebron, Jordan, Curry, Magic, Bird, Duncan had when they won their titles, but... Hipotetically, if he has 5 titles... There would be no debate that he is clearly the greatest basketball player of all time.

And somehow Jokic is moving limits of this sport eoo much that literally it looks like we haven't seen anything of this sport yet😂😂because he is player who is proving that some player can play like combination of more all time greats🤣🤣he is averaging sme FG% like Shaq if not even better last 5 years, he is pasing like Magic, he is shooting right now like Steph 😂, he is rebounding like prime Tin Duncan, he is scoring like prime Kevin Durant... Or maybe they would give it to Tatum because Boston would most likely finish first in the east and I'm not gonna lie, Tatum is playing great basketball right now.

@joshahlstrom2764 I don't know. I still question his consistency. Even when he was in his prime, even his MVP season is a little bit overrated for me because he averaged 42% from the field that season. From 50% to somewhere between 46-47% that's good, those are dolid efficiency, if you are averaging that FG% you can say that toi are an efficient player. 45% is nah... Not really, 5% below 50 and there are many players in this league eho average even much better % than 50. And below 45% is just horrible. Russ was always the guy eho maybe will be on fire one or 2 games in a row at best and than... He will have 3-4 games in a row trash. It was the same story in Washington, it was the sane story in Lakers before he was benched, he was mediocre for Lakers, it was the same story last year for Clippers soo for me Russ was never consistent as a player. He will have good games and many bad games, simply he is that kind of a player. I jist hope that when it matters most, when Denver will play some of the most important games of this season in play offs, he will be great in those games. If Jokic averages an actual triple double making him the first ever as a Center and he’s top 4-5 in the west and wins his 4th mvp in a 5 year span… idc he’s TOP 12 all time AT LEAST… he’d be joining Lebron , MJ and Kareem only players with 4 or more.

You mean if he stays like this because they are currently 4th in the west
Jok is leading league in rebounds and assists with 13,5/11 per game
And is 5th in points per game
While also being top 30 in steals 20 in blocka and 10 in deflections per game

Since Lebron is still occupying my Lakers I've gotten into watching Denver right now rooting for Russ and watching Jokic truly making teammates better. Their bench is developing an identity and what's more impressive with Jokic vs LeBron is everyone is allowed to shine or can shine. Ironically Jokic isn't playing for numbers which allows there to be team flow not being disrupted by making sure he gets his stats.

Jokic in the East would get to the finals every year (like some clown used to do a decade ago). Only 2 teams are over 0.500 in that conference, 9 teams in the West.
They should reduce the Eastern playoffs to only the 4 best teams, because the 1st round there will be a joke.

Actually, he was fine with Slippers which is where he first got over the idea of not being a starter. And in Denver so far he had really took his leadership role especially with the kids to heart. I was against the idea but if Jokić thiks its worth it, I'm not arrogant enough to disagree. I thought for years that Vince Carter was the biggest prima donna mememe player in league. A quitter and a one trick pony. Turns out he wasn't a dumbass his whole career and ended up being known as a great veteran leader. Zach Randolph was very similar in the early part of his career but ended up a respected veteran who helped young players. Maybe he has smarted up in the exact same way and is realizing that this kinda situation is pretty unique, to play with an unselfish superstar eith zerp agenda or drama.

By the time his career is up I'm going to have Jokic top 10.
Winning is the most important thing & it is a real shame he will retire with just 1 ring which you can't just ignore. However, ranking by rings implies at least some sort of title window. It's very helpful when sorting out Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Bird, Steph & the fake "King" because all those guys had several chances to compete for titles and so how many they cashed in should be a primary factor when evaluating their legacies.
Jokic had none of that and so ultimately when ranking how GOOD he was in comparison to others you just can't say he wasn't good enough to win rings. This also applies a great deal to Hakeem too, but even he spent a couple years early on with an elite Ralph Sampson & eventually got Clyde Drexler.

So, no mention of Russ having a great game and being part of the reason they won, and poor analysis on your part on comparing AD with Murray. Murray had an ACL tear, which takes considerably longer to recover from than other injuries. AD got injured trying to play his way into shape after the bubble, and has had numerous untimely injuries during the season to get to his total. Comparing that to and ACL tear is ridiculous- and ACL tear takes a minimum of 1 season to recover from
