    This is the Aussie Vocal Coach Quick Vocal Warm Up for Altos. The 7 vocal exercises in this warm up will gently stretch your voice so that you can sing through your vocal range in practice and performance. Use the timestamps below to skip to each exercise.

    i loved this. As an alto, I find that most exercises focus on more soprano voices. I really liked how deep this one went

    No training ever. 74 years old. First try.
    I know im an alto, but cannot sing the upper end arpegios comfortably - stop as many as 4-5 steps shy of highest.
    Wondering if my range can increase.
    I love feeling exactly the engagement you describe for some exercises, and knowing i can make my voice stronger.
    I can hear myself go flat at high end of my range, and love connecting those dots ;->
    What a gift.

    Why is Exercise 5 (mum) so difficult?

      @@ivetteaquino2505 you need to create more space on those higher notes. I‘d say: try to to open your mouth more, change the vowel to an uh instead of an ah and keep a medium volume. Quieter is better than louder. And try to keep track of possible tension
