Hi Lukas Thank you for your videos. I really like your channel, but I have a question for you Lukas I like (Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate) it’s look like amazing certificate and good value to learn on it but the problem I have MacBook and there is no optional to download power PI even from their website only available on the iPhone mobile for the mac so what’s your advice to exchange it Tableau? or just change the computer? Or just skip the certificate to other option
Awesome list mate. Man, however this last Google course is a tragedy for many. While many other courses, specially IBM DA can help you out to land a job or add to your stack, this Google one can get you a pat in the shoulder and prep talk. That's the lot.
would further elaborate what you mean by that? I'm interested in knowing more about the course. English is not my first language so I don't quite get what you're getting at 🫠
@@FullmetalKimJ The course doesn't involve much practical things to do, it is more theory-based and for many many people especially those ones like myself is an endless boredom. I think the IBM Data Analyst one is more hands-on, so you can apply the things that you learn straight away. I haven't completed any of them, as I've got a Data Analysis degree already, but I've overseen both of them and I can say, in my experience, I'd choose the IBM one.
Google's Data analytics or Advanced Data analytics?? I dont wanna waste time on former should i jump to the latter one? Or should i go for IBMs Data Science?
Yes, they are. Data Science is more about to use the right mathematical and statistical algorithms for prediction and then help on the decision making, analysing trends over the time and then give decision makers grounds for taking decisions in the future. Data Analysis is more focused on gathering and analysing the data for a diagnosis, or understanding what happened out of that data. In both cases many algorithms and techniques are crossed over, there is even a overlap between Data Analysis, Data Science and Data Engineering. However, you need to know that the understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts will help you to use properly the respective algorithms.
In the IT context, certificates are a proof that you've completed a specific course. Certification is a proof that you are officially a specialist for that application and you need a specific exam for that. For instance, you can have a PL-300 certification without have done any course for Power BI and vice-versa.
A certification from Microsoft, AWS, Google etc. involves passing an exam. This is extremely valuable. A certificate on Coursera is just a certificate of completion showing you completed a course. It has no value to employers at all.
@@abeurakadabeura I don't think you're prepared to help people my man. Sorry to say that. Working interacting with people, which Data industry requires strongly, is exactly abiut that, use your knowledge with empathy to help others understand things that others don't. The technical and background knowledge is the backbone, but without being such a prick like you were with the person above is a disgrace.
@@abeurakadabeura Your comment is extremely unnecessary, it’s okay to be bored and fishing for attention. But what you’re looking for is clearly not here. How are you going to analyze data if you can’t think before you act?
Time stamps! 😞 Please?
Awesome video. Thank you so much

Can you review Georgia’s Tech Business Analytics certificate program?
Thank you

would you recommend taking data science certs and transfer over to data analytics? is their crossover?

I wouldn't recommend as learning a data visualization tool isn't really covered in data science courses but is essential for any Analytics role.
i recommend transfer over to data engineering
Is there a difference between certificates & certifications?

Did you even watch the video? He explains that in the beginning of the video...
How are you gonna mine data if you can't do a simple Google search?
