- On 12th January 2022, it was 5 years since Foil Arms and Hog posted their first Oisín and Anne sketch - Teachning Computers to Parents

I wanted to celebrate that, and I then made this video using clips from all 26 sketches with Oisín, Anne and Barry, as well as clips from the 4 outtakes/bloopers videos from FAH that includes clips with these characters.

I discovered FoilArmsandHog just after my husband died in 2019. These talented young men will never know how many times they literally carried me through the toughest time in my life. A welcome distraction! This is a heart warming tribute to their most beloved characters.
Me too . I discovered them at the end of 2020 after losing my husband.
They brought joy through the second lockdown and they were a welcome distraction for sure.
They helped brighten the dark hours.
I wonder how many other people they have helped with the gift of laughter.
As a mother, I thank God for Anne. We all empathize and laugh with her antics.

These three always make me laugh in one way or another
This is so sweet - the song is lovely and the clips well chosen. This compilation really highlights how many sketches these characters have been in over the years! The addition of laughter-filled outtakes gave the charming impression (illusion?) that the Flanagans and Barry actually have some happy times together now and again 😊.

I agree with the other FAHn who says the lyrics feel like they're from Oisin's perspective once he's grown up enough to realize that his mother acts like that because she loves him 🥺 (Some of those sentiments must be coming from Barry, too - we've all seen the way he looks at Anne! 😄)

Hi Turtle, this is momentous, as I've never commented on RUclips before and you have moved me to do so! Quick background: this is an extremely late comment, as I only found FAH about 3 months ago. Needless to say I have binged ever since, loving the FAHn community as well as the incredibly gifted and charismatic boys. Everyone seems to relate to the Flanagans. The series is so obviously a mocking but deeply affectionate tribute to mothers everywhere and reflects the trio's joy in their own little long-established 'family'. But I don't think you quite realise the depth of what you've achieved here with the brilliant clips and the lovely song. It can be read as a tribute to FAH, yes, and, as someone has suggested, as Oisin's adult appreciation of what his mam has done for him. However, that second and more personal verse could also be seen as Anne's reply - her feelings for him. And essentially that is what subliminally hits the souls of any mothers here. What a fantastic creation. What a star! Thank you!
