God, this particulat sketch brought back memories of my own teenage years. The 'dont' wolf it down' in particular, I mean I'm in my late 20s and my parents still do that. I was giggling the whole way through. I would show it to them, but their English isn't quite good enough, sadly. Happy belated birthday to Foil and Arms ! And I love Anne, Oisin and Barry sketches, will we get a Barry-centered one someday?

I was finishing my after dinner coffee in an expensive elegant French restaurant in San Francisco (the menu was all in French) when a couple sat down at the next table, the guy hollered at me HEY HONEY WHAT ‘D YOU GET? I was embarrassed and afraid people would think I knew him. I mumbled what I’d ordered, he hollered WAS IT ANY GOOD? I said Um yes. He hollered WE’RE FROM TEXAS! Big duh 🤣

Wait, what would a pause button be good for? You just stand still in Limbo for a while? Can you think, feel or do anything else, while you are technically on pause? Can anyone else move? Can you live another life for a bit, then get back to watching yours?

If the rewind has you relive everything you did without being able to change anything, I would still opt for the pause button, though. Couldn't stand a yearslong déjà vu.
Probably rewind. The moments I look most fond back on now, are not moments where I would have thought to pause at that time.

Great sketch, I am Anne and my son is Oisin, we both enjoy the similarities when watching. Loved seeing you guys in the Iveagh Gardens recently also loved your Vicar Street shows but the chairs there are more like stools and not great for the aul back and sitting up straight, would prefer a more back friendly venue please. Ideally The civic theatre in Tallaght or The Mill theatre in Dundrum which I know you’ve used before but it was booked out before I got to it. Many thanks x
