Absolute facts.
That's the appeal, like you know thirsty vampire concept leaving listeners thirsty, wink wink. With a bridge the song would have too many switches probably. Like the 1) verse 2) oh my oh my god 3) come here and get some 4) chorus, they are all really different musically and switch quite fast if it had the bridge that could maybe become overloaded with too many melodies. But it does indeed feel short, and they really could have one more section, but it is what it is for better or worse
The opening part with Sunoo and Heeseung 🤌 Enhypen ate it, slayed it, and nailed it.
This is such a good song to do some experimental stuff on and they really did that 👑

Heeseung made the vocal arrangements and directed the vocal recording and we clearly can ear his style. It will become the enhypen's sound signature hopefully.
The vocals in this song are so good. Heeseung’s singing is really underrated he has such a beautiful voice. Sunoo and Jungwon also have really great voices. Honestly whole of Enhypen have pretty voices. Not every member have good technique, but who cares about technique when you sound as good as Enhypen. Technique can always improve, while a good voice you have to be born with it. All Enhypen are borned with pretty vocal colours.

@@himaririku5289i'm not sure because as the pd said Heeseung seemed restrained as part of the group. In their songs his vocal style is more of pop style and a belter but his appearance in Lee mujin displayed his quite strong rnb and ballad style.

the way i gasped when i first watched and heard this. like the choreo got me SCREAMINGGGG. not to mention the vocals, like they really are the definition of growth! heeseung is insane right from the beginning, sunoo finally showcasing his vocals, sunghoon... embodied the concept so damn hard, jungwon's unique voice adds so much on this song, same goes with jake!!! jay a natural slayer even with small lines, ni-ki MY SON, created the best choreo and slayed

I'm so happy you love this song because when it dropped a lot of ppl were disappointed because there wasn't a bridge for the 3rd comeback in a row, also K-engenes sent trucks to HYBE to remove the female dancers it was a dumpster fire lmao it's so nice to hear someone actually compliment this song for once
A lot of people also complimented/liked the song a lot though… it’s literally catchy…though some wanted it to be longer cos they were still enjoying it… well.. asides “those” that were jealous of the dancers.. just adding
Lmao hating the dancers is obviously just the delulu dumbasses but I have to say, Bite Me is catchy but it didn't deserve to be that short :( it worked for Blessed-Cursed and even Pass The Mic because they had the chorus 3 times which makes it feel full. Bite me only had the Acapella of it which isn't enough for the listener. Also Bite Me is REALLY short too.
It's catchy af but that's why I prefer Sacrifice a whole lot

I thought it was the beat drop in the first part of the chorus that threw people off in the beginning.

Also if you didn't know, Ni-Ki choreographed a part of the song (the part before the chorus you said you liked, where they kinda rap) and Heeseung directed some of the recording (in the studio) as well :)))
Sunoo and heeseung is the best opening duo. But they all ate this song. especially when you know that Heeseung did the vocal direction on this song. And then combo with niki helping with the choreo…I think this is one of their best songs because I think the group put so much of themselves into this work and the creation of this song

The Drunk-Dazed standard has finally been broken by Bite Me even for us fans too. No matter how many times i listen to this song, it's just best for me.

Idk what is in the water that bang pd drinks but bighit has created 3 of my top favorite musicians XD BTS, txt, and enhypen are some of the few that I’ve listened to the entire discography of.
All of enhypen songs are 10/10. This album is 20/20. A whole other level. Heesung’s vocals are angelic and hitting all of the right spots for a good song. Jungwon’s vocals are charming. Nikki that kid oof he needs to stop dancing so well he is amazing XD child prodigy tbh
And alot of the kids in I-land debuted!

It's a total MASTERPIECE!!!! I'm so obsessed with this song, incredible. I've definitely listened to it over 1000 times ahhhh. So true, Heeseung has an angel voice and yesssss Jake sounds amazing! ❤They consistently have such phenomenal music and I especially love when they go all out with the vampire concept, love this soooo much! I agree, for me it was Given-Taken & Drunk-Dazed that were my faves but this instantly demoted them haha.
The only sad thing is that it's too damn short and deserves a bridge at least!
I think that they removed the bridge when the songs no longer had - connecting the words. It seems that way after looking back at their title tracks

Enhypen being one of my ults and as Heeseung bias’d, this was everything and so worth the wait PD. Heeseung helped with the vocal directing of Bite Me, he also helped with other b-sides, his voice is soo captivating and addicting, i relate to you so much like it feels like he sings so effortlessly. Ni-ki choreographed the pre-chorus too, he’s absolutely amazing and capable of so much.
I feel like they’re my babies and all grown up too 😭 this comeback truly showed their growth, and they were the most involved this era too, they’ve broke so many records and I’m just sooo proud, they just recently celebrated 1000 Days, like where has the time gone?!
Bite Me has also become my favourite title track, I love them having pair dance too it feels so refreshing from everything else, they all have great chemistry with the dancers and the MV is amazing. I can’t wait till you react to Sacrifice also the whole album is a MASTERPIECE and in my opinion their best to date, they truly didn’t come to play this time around. ENHYPEN Bite me ATE and left no crumbs, there are parts of the storyline here but it’s more heavily showed in the Sacrifice MV, I’m so happy you got to see this video and can’t wait for you to hear the whole album :)) so proud with enhypen ❤

this was EXACTLY my reaction as i watched the premiere omg i was just so shocked at how good the song was that i missed so much of the mv and i had to rewatch it multiple times 😭
bite me is genuinely the first kpop song in a longgg time that i’ve liked on first listen. lately it always takes me a few weeks of constant listening to warm up to any trending kpop song, but this chorus hit as soon as i heard it 🙏

Hee will always shines even some jeolousy antis said otherwise, believe the professional rather than one acted likes ones. Tq PD, for the recognition, Hee’s seem being held back when their first debut so he wont outshined other members but i wish he show them all now. Hope you check out his song cover off my fave cover too. These boys improvement is impressive , ni-ki witth choreography and Heeseung with directing doing adlibs and bcgrond n got credited for it, jake with song writing credit last album, SH with acting skill , beyond proud of these boys given being ONLY 2.5 years in the industry

Finally someone who shares my views on this mv, their vocals were good enough to not even need a music video. they are one of the few groups who can deliver music that sounds good and not just looks good. no hate on any other groups.

Wow the Heeseung discussion is SO true... I was invested in iLand and have been a casual listener since their debut, but I had never realised my thoughts regarding Heeseung. He was my top pick in iLand and he was THE ACE, pure effortless talent. But I remember he struggled when it came to leadership in missions or standing out... I think K struggled with this as well. And what you said about his dancing... I understand adapting to the group so it looks cohesive but I missed his ace-ness and hadn't realised? I'm not a solo stan in any way or form, it's just unfortunate and a result of coming from a survival show I guess. Their trainee time wasn't the same, Heeseung could have easily debuted with TXT... It's so noticeable in this release how much ENHYPEN has learned and grown since debut individually and as a group, so hopefully Heeseung can finally go wild!

I waited for so longggggggg
That constant whipping through stunned silence and red-faced excitement was my exact reaction to this song (and the video, but mostly the song). For me the return of Sunoo's "deranged" stare as well as all-grown-up Jungwon truly did it, but I was completely lost once the first "Oh my, oh my god" threw me straight to the edge of the atmosphere. I really like that they do parts with female dancers, because that choreo is so beautiful to me. The entire choreo may be my second favorite now (my ultimate will always be Let Me In because it always looks so fun and playful). Truly the comeback of the year.
This song was the best to annoy my roommate LMAO! She was thrown back, a bit disappointed with the another lack of bridge and the chrous then 3 hours later I hear her singing it. 3 weeks later she still does.

putting sunoo and heeseung right after one another has always been such a good choice🤯 heeseung got to participate in vocal directing on a few songs and has vocal arrangement credits on bite me, ni-ki choreographed some of bite me, they all got to participate more in this album and it really shows in the songs. i’m so proud of them for really getting to show us their vocal colors in this album. not even tired of listening to bite me, it’s legendary at this point!
i think i saw that the directors for the concept trailer and bite me mv are sports commercial directors and it’s their first time working with kpop idols. might explain some of the shots?

It's so cool as Enhypen moves through their discography and how their team plays around with building music by doing things like removing the expected ideas like the dashes or changing the experience by removing bridges and end choruses, etc. Enhypen keeps Engenes on their toes. They keep pushing the boundaries by exploring various genres and when they dive into a concept, they give 10000%, they are truly concept kings. I'm a first gen fan and I love how they brought back partner dancing as it works so well with this song and is refreshing to see it again although it did cause a lot of fan wars between k-side and i-side.
I can't wait to see your reaction to Sacrifice (Eat me up) because I personally think that is their best music video and also any performance videos as you know they are wonderful performers. Hopefully you can listen to the entire album and maybe react to that because all of their songs are so good, this is their best album yet. Bite me is their best tt now I agreeee! Enhypen is my favorite so I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed, but I did not expect anything to top tfw as my fav song now. One of their b sides, Bills, feels like it shifted something in me. It's so good it's not only my fav song by them, it's already my most listened to song of the year already and surpassing omg by nj. I recommend it!
