So the dust can damage your raspatory system because it is a fine powder. So it has to be inhaled. Could they not just put a bunch of water into the tanker and turn it into a sludge. That way the dust cant be inhaled. Then some gumboots walk through grab the packages. Safely dispose of the sludge.

Regardless of opinions of whether marijuana is good or bad, for the moment it is still illegal at the federal level as well as with most states. Smuggling is a multi-billion dollar a year business, so it's easy to see why smugglers will go to such extremes as to hide their cargo in a load of hazardous materials.

I agree. It should be AT LEAST classified as a Class 2 in the USA. At least in Canada its a class 2 drug and cannabis is the only drug listed in class 2 for Canada.
Class 1 drugs says there is no medical use...which we all know there are MANY medicinal uses for cannabis.

Like for an example Na (sodium) is highly explosive and dangerous but if you add Cl (chlorine) to it, it becomes what we know as table salt; is there anything you can add to the powder to make it different?
