- This week we spent 24 hours in the city of Bogota. We explored the city's old town by foot and explored some of the most touristed spots. Bogota is absolutely beautiful, the Spanish architecture, the gold museum and plenty of delicious places to eat. We had a great time in the city despite being stuck in the city without a taxi! Bogota was a great place to spend some time before catching our next flight to the Caribbean.

Great vlog guys! I definitely recommend going back to Bogota and spending at least 3 nights! Among the must things to do are; monserrate (for the beautiful views of the city), andres carne de res (perfect colombian dining experience), salt cathedral on the outskirts of Bogota, parque 93 Chico/usaquen areas to experience the more affluent areas of the city that offers great shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars etc.
We definitely needed more time in the city, there is so much more to see! Thanks for all the recommendations. Really helpful 🙌

Thank you! We'll hope you enjoy your trip to Colombia! And yes, this whole vlog has been filmed on the Go Pro 8. I do adjust the settings, and I know that I use 'flat' instead of Go Pro Color. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the video! I’m headed there in two weeks. Are credit cards and USD widely accepted or should I get Colombian cash? Are the ATMs generally safe to withdraw cash with USA debit cards?
Enjoy your travels there! At the ATM’s, yes. We had no issues taking money out with several different cards. We usually used the ATM’s that were inside somewhere. Like the airport or a mall, instead of the ones you find outside. Hope that helps!

No, but I think that has changed now. We were there early December
