We had the amazing oppurtunity to have the new Audi RS5 in for the best: The Finest New Car Detail.
The new car detail includes a thorough cleaning of the car.
After the paint correction, the C.Quartz FINEST Nanotech Ceramic Paint Coating is applied. Also all the interior bits and engine bay are coated in C.Quartz Finest Coating.

I just did this exact process on my new (to me) 2013 S5 and my 2012 S4, except using CQuartz UK edition as I am not a licensed installer. I’m not a pro and I haven’t detailed my cars myself since I was a teenager. I figured it would be cheaper to buy the equipment and do it myself than have it done to all 8 of my cars and trucks. I spent 3 days...well nights actually...polishing the S5’s paint with the Rupes system. I got the new LHR15 Mark II and it was amazing. I used a variety of lights to see defects. The S5 is white so kind of hard to see. Anyway, it looks amazing. I talked to CarPro and they said the UK edition is 80% as strong as the pro version and I did 2 coats. I used their glass nano coating on all glass. It rained the other day and I didn’t need to use wipers, the windshield didn’t fog up, and the car was completely dry by the time I stopped. The S4, being as I’ve had it professionally detailed weekly since new, didn’t need practically any paint correction and was a breeze. I’d love to do a test panel to compare against the pro level. The only thing that is dirty are the wheels and that is just brake dust a simple wipe would remove. They feel super slippery while wiping the dust. I’d never have a car again without this coating. Don’t be scared by the “if you do it wrong you need to wet sand”. As long as you only do a small panel at a time and wipe the tiny bit of residue off quickly, it’s extremely easy. If you think you’re using too little, that’s the correct amount. One bottle lasted me 2 coats on 2 cars. This can go over paint protection film but not under it. My Porsche is completely covered in $10k worth of paint protection film and I’m going to do this anyway to help reduce oxidation of the film and add gloss. Terrific products! I now only use CarPro products for detailing and even gave my detailing guy a kit so he can maintain my cars with the proper stuff.

i delute iron x snow foam depending on the pollution on the paint.

honestly it looks just as good at 5:21 then it does after curing. Maybe it's just the lighting...
The nanotech is already applied even before they started to wash the car full stop, you can tell by the way the water beads off and the snowfoam is dripping off as well. :)
7071t6 It was badly polished by another company. So there was already something on it.
So why not tell the new owner and if its new car that means it was already done by the new car dealer right or wrong, lol :) so basically a double up of work, when in fact a simple paint correction and then apply the ceramic coating ju7st on those areas and not the complex car and most good quality ceramic coating last years so no need for double up of work and car pro has its own hydro 2 lite which can be used on top of the current coating as well ?cheers :) Like i have seen too many car dealers charge for a products when in reality the owner drives to the shops and back and maybe once or twice a year goes on a trip, sure if the car is driven on the freeways a lot or a company reps car then sure get a good ceramic coating done by all means, but if the owners will look after the car wash it and polish and wax it no need for ceramic coating other than the wheels maybe,but then again using products like carpro will do the job anyway when washing or detailing the car. cheers :)
Also the light swirl marks can also be made by a simple washing the car, my point is that most new cars and internal paint protection is done, so how on earth did you get light swirl marks on the surface if it got ceramic coating on it ?
7071t6 It didnt already had ceramic coating on it. It was badly polished and then waxed.
OK then still i find it a waste of CASH really, i used my 1998 Holden VT 5Lt for work and it had done over 650,000KM in just over 10 years and my paint and car looked like new due to washing it and polishing it every two months, but i can see the benefits for ceramic coating if done correctly and you going to look after the car as well due to the resale price you will get for it, but nothing will help you when you crash the car and then the panel and paint shop and the insurance will not cover the re application of ceramic coating again where the new paint and panel repairs where done. :) so for paint correction and ceramic coating done its about 1,200 US dollars and i can tell you that with dark colored cars it would be worth the outlay,but then again the insurance company does not cover the re application of the ceramic coating, so till they do it then maybe i would consider it ? Keep up the great work and do not stop doing what you love. :)
Remove the tag on the wash mitt! It can cause fine scratches..
