Good on you for speaking up, it's disgusting the practice of selling 10 year old motherboards and CPUs and putting them in a new case with RGB fans for huge profits.
I’ve noticed this is happening everywhere…. For example in the construction industry, if a homeowner is looking to have a home improvement project like a 4” thick concrete patio. A “contractor” (unlicensed contractor) will give a “great price” to have the project done for the homeowner…. But then cut corners and install a 2.5 concrete patio instead and the homeowners don’t even realize they’re being screwed over.
The i7-2600 still has a place in 2024 in my opinion. If this company was offering the same PC, but with a 1650 for around $300. That still makes it cheaper than a budget new parts system without any major bottlenecks.
The whole point of this video is that the company isn't honest about what they are selling. If they said this is a budged rig with refurbished outdated parts which can't even run games over 60fps I'd say it's fine but they are acting like this is a really good deal
I see this all of the time on FaceBook MarketPlace with old ass Dells (usually the x010 or the x020 series so 3rd or 4th generation Intel where x = 3,7 or 9) put in a fancy new case and sold as a "Gaming PC" LoL! they are always over priced for ten year old hardware!
I see that all the time too, honestly I don’t mind that practice if they clearly state the CPUs condition and exact model making it clear. My problem with Viprtech is they don’t appear to be a small company so they are just being deceptive on purpose

Yeah well I would mind a little less about the practice if they weren’t lying about it or hiding the fact it’s old and used hardware
