Transcript: Very few people seem to understand what the meaning is of repentance. Repentance does not mean that you admit that you've done wrong,that you admit that I'm a sinner like has become the fashion in modern-day churches. Repentance means that you turn away from sin, that you hate sin, that you cast it away from you as far as you possibly can and you don't go there again. You get away from it ,you run from it. I read in Jude 1 verse 23 He says: "Hating even the garment polluted by the flesh." That's how serious it is. Repentance means that even the garment, the clothes that have been involved with sin, you reject that, you just get away from it because it's polluted. You don't want to touch it, you don't want to touch sin. There are people who say they are Christians but they've got problems with vices, with things that they are dependent on, that they are addicted to. They're watching pornography, they still carry on with the same sins that they've been busy with. They don't know what repentance means my friend. Repentance means that you hate sin, you hate what God hates, and God hates sin, God does not tolerate sin. You get away from it as far as you possibly can. I just happen to listen to the repentance confession of a RUclips pastor who had been involved in fornication and adultery but I didn't see any remorse. He has gotten rid of the girl now and now he's carrying on with his ministry but there's no remorse. My friends, repentance is you hate sin. You hate where you were, you are ashamed of it. You don't want to go there anymore. You hate it like something that is vile because that is what it is, and now this pastor is continuing with his ministry and people are following him. You know, he is taking people with him because that is the quality of confession of repentance that he is preaching. People love it but that is not what what God meant by repentance I want to read from 2 Peter chapter 2 verse 4 Peter says: For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment and did not spare the ancient world but preserved Noah a preacher of righteousness with seven others, when he brought the flood upon the world, the world of the ungodly..." and he goes on and he talks about the judgment of God. God does not excuse sin my friend not in a preacher not in anybody. Sin is sin and God hates sin. We cannot tolerate sin and still call ourselves children of God. Repentance is not just:"I made a little mistake you know, I've been without porn for two days now I feel a bit better." My friend, if you go back to the filth that you've been involved with, you're not interested in Jesus Christ, you're just messing around. You're not in a walk with Christ. You've never repented. You've never turned away from your sin. You love your sin and you hate God and you're playing games just like this pastor on RUclips. He's getting back into ministry and it's gonna get a lot of followers that he'll take to hell with him, because he's not a man of God. He doesn't know what repentance means repentance means. You hate sin and you love God. I want to read further what Peter says 2 Peter 2 verse 18 he says: "for speaking out arrogant words of vanity they enticed by fleshly desires by sensuality, those who barely escaped from the ones who live in error, promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption. For by what the man is overcome by this he is enslaved." If a person is overcome by fornication and adultery he's enslaved by it. It's no good just to say: "I made a little mistake and now I am back" my friend. That is not repentance. How can such a person be a leader of others? How can he lead them to Jesus? He himself doesn't know Jesus I go on verse 20 says "for if after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of God and of the Savior Jesus Christ they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first." This person is presumably, he had repented of sin, he had come to Jesus but now he's fallen back in his wickedness. He's enslaved to it. He says "his last state has become worse than the first for it would be have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than having known it to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them. It has happened to them according to the true proverb, a dog returns to its own vomit and a sow after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire. My friend if you want to walk with God, you walk in holiness. There are no half measures with Christ. No sin will go into heaven. God is holy and he does not tolerate sin. God does not tolerate any sin not on sin. Those who walk with Christ are holy, my friend, and especially those who want to call themselves preachers and leaders, those who want to preach the gospel have got to walk straight, because they are going to be accountable to God for every word that they spoke. Their judgment be more harsh than others. I want to level a warning to whoever is listening to this message. My friend, don't follow a person that does not know what true repentance really means, don't listen to them. Go to Jesus, my friend, and He will teach you. He will teach you about true repentance. He will teach you about hating sin. He will teach you about hating even the garment that is soiled by sin. God does not tolerate sin, my friend. God is a holy God. Jesus Christ is a holy God, He does not tolerate sin my friend. Repentance means you're not gonna go there anymore. You're not doing it anymore, you cast it away from you, my friend. You cannot walk with God and walk with sin, you've got to choose, you've got to choose now or else you're fooling yourself, and if you keep yourself company with people who tolerate sin you're in the wrong fellowship, my friend. The fellowship of Christ is holiness. It means that you reject and you hates it. You take a stand against sin, you're not going to do it. You're not gonna tolerate it,you're not gonna listen to. You're not gonna have it close to you, you're not gonna touch it. If you don't have that attitude, my friend, you're not serious about Jesus, because Jesus hates sin. Jesus died for sin my friend. He didn't die so that you can sin. He died for sin so that we can be redeemed and that we can be made free from sin. God knows how to deliver righteous men from temptation, from times of trouble, but the righteous men, they are people who walk in the light of God, who walk in holiness. God does not tolerate sin my friend. Make no mistake ,repentance means you get rid of it ,you clean your closets you clean out everything, everything that reminds you of sin, you get rid of it ,of any temptation. You don't go there, you just chuck it away and you embrace Christ with all the power that you have my friend, or else you will not get into the kingdom of heaven. I belive you are a man of God. I am a sinner and an adulter and i want to repent and break forever the chains of sin which held me away from the Truth. I want the narrow path because even if sin is sweet, the Holy Spirit makes me know happiness is not in this flesh but in the eternity with Jesus Christ. May God bless you all.
We must not be "of the world". Do not follow the world. God said to be holy bc he is holy. We are flesh & this is why we need the baptism of the Holy Spirit. There's no way we can fight spiritual warfare on our own.

People can have a lot of excuses and reasons good as they may seem but one sin doesn't excuse another. We have to do whats right in spite of others sinning against us. It seems like it is sweet but it is a lure into the pit and other sin and trouble. It causes terrible destruction to your marriage and your children and damage to the love of your spouse ... They may never love you the same again even if they forgive you. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 King James Version (KJV) 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. When JESUS healed people He said go and sin no more. Matthew 5:28 King James Version (KJV) 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart Flesh and blood won't inherit the Kingdom we have to be born from above the spirit. Today's Church is not preaching repentance. I attended Church from little up and never knew what repentance really was. Only in the last year has repentance been defined and understood, I HATE SIN!. I have repented and continue to repent when I sin. It was no accident that I stumbled on to your message. I am still being refined as I walk on the narrow road to Salvation! Christian Love - Larry

1 John 1 v 7 if we walk in the light the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.. there is no excuse for sin, if we walk in the light then the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us. sin is Darkness. one more. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God Matthew 5 v 8 . James chapter 2.v 17-22.
It start with a choice, choose to love God and choose to hate sin. It will get easier to overcome sin the more you seek God. Read the word of God as much as possible. God will give you a way out every time you get tempted. God bless you and your family forever ♾ in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is easier bit by bit, one week one sin less, another week one less, It's all about reasoning, it's not only about faith and Bible, but about much more that you need to stop sinning

Even after we are done with our sins in repentence, we must mourn our sins the rest of our lives. We are to approach salvation with fear and trembling, for there is no guarantee for any of us.
After reading some of these responses, it is being misunderstood about what the brother is saying. Christ/God is holy and does not want us to keep sining taking the blood of Jesus in vain as the Lord explains in the book of Romans. Yes we have been forgiven from sin. But we have the free will to choose to continue the walk on this "narrow road" by being sin conscious to "run this race", and to block the "fiery darts" of the evil one. Those of us with our whole armor can see him from afar and can fight in the spirit and not fall into sin.
@@bignatec1000 that's exactly what that means. Actions speak louder than words. Many proclaim Jesus and try to follow in order to just go to heaven... They don't really love him or fully respect his doctrine..
True holiness just seems so difficult and impossible to achieve because it seems like as soon as you make up your mind to follow Jesus and to repent there is another sin waiting around the corner for you ready for you to slip and fall in it.
I pray for our weakness in the context of God's strength; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I pray that our fleshly past will be fully repented of and that Godly counsel and support will keep us free from temptation and from our old ways. Mark 6 "Jesus Sends out the Twelve" Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village. 7 Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits. Matthew 16 "Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah" 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
The only guy on RUclips that describes repent Jesus is alive hope I live my life repenting to our lord and savior May he reach all my Muslim family the gospel will be heard in all nations my friends listens to this guy may we have more borrowed time in the end times
I try to address people in the church about this and it comes down to this....they really don't believe Jesus was God and the things He told us to do like love our enemies... and pray for those who persecute us...and don't judge and don't condemn...and dont hate... and many others were commands.

We are to love what God loves and hate what God hates ! True repentance is to be sorrowful and turn away from that sin and to hate it ! Keep falling back into sin then there's a problem with relationship with the Lord . It's got nothing to do with the Law. The Holy Spirit Guides us through the straight way . Sin is the work of the devil . We must be strong and fight our fleshy ways ! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom .
i am a sinner as well. a two faced witch. part of me wants to repent, but part of me follows the ways of this world. if i continue zealously down the path i have been, i have seen my own destruction at the hands of the romans. or perhaps captain moroni if mormonism is anything to go by. i believe jesus is superior to myself.. but i do not know how to follow him.. how to make it so that no more natural men fall.

Christ in us, makes us Holy and to do His work - faith without works is dead. So many excuse and tolerate sin, addictions etc. pray for my husband to release his cigarette addiction and excuses and trust fully in Christ! Men loved darkness..... and once we did..... but now we are now children of light! Occupy till He comes! Amen for truth loving edifying brothers and sisters in Christ!

Общество Христа - это святость. Это значит, что ты отвергаешь и ненавидишь это. Ты выступаешь против греха, ты не собираешься это делать. Ты не будешь терпеть это, ты не будешь слушать это. Ты не будешь иметь это близко к себе, ты не будешь прикасаться к этому. Если у тебя нет такого отношения, мой друг, тогда ты - не серьёзен об Иисусе, потому что Иисус ненавидит грех. Иисус умер за грех, мой друг. Он не умер, чтобы ты мог грешить. Он умер за грех, чтобы мы моли быть искупленными, и чтобы мы были освобождены от греха. Бог знает, как избавить праведников от искушения, от беды, но праведники - это люди, которые ходят в свете Божьем, которые ходят в святости. Бог не терпит греха, мой друг. He cannot answer you. He passed on to be with Jesus on January 19, 2020. Repentance means to be sorry about all your sins and to turn from all your wrongful ways. You turn around, go the other way. Be Holy because without Holiness you will Not see Jesus. The Unrighteous will Not Inherit Jesus Everlasting Kingdom. We must be pure in heart. Guard your own heart more than anything else. Jesus will Help you. Work on your Personal Love Relationship With Him. He will Transform you more and more Into His Likeness so that you can be Pleasing to Him. IsGodForReal ? Bc you have not been convicted by the holy spirit. U have not been born again. U cannot change yourself Jesus must do that for you. If u want to change u must be sincere with Jesus and ask him. The sins I use to do disgust me now I cant do them anymore, Jesus convicted me and brought me to repentance. Andrea Parks hi there I hear what you're saying ... but his wisdom is truth of scripture as we grow up in grace. Ultimately, we must cooperate with he Holy Spirit some folks who are addicted have not been chosen of God yet or have not fully surrendered which is why they struggle.... it's a humbling surrender to Christ and then He makes us new creations in Him. And we begin to follow His teachings etc. hope that helps! As long as folks still have breath, we can intercede for those who are still lost or excusing sin.

My friend, if you go back to the filth that you've been involved with, you're not interested in Jesus Christ, you're just messing around. You're not in a walk with Christ. You've never repented. You've never turned away from your sin. You love your sin and you hate God and you're playing games just like this pastor on RUclips. He's getting back into ministry and it's gonna get a lot of followers that he'll take to hell with him, because he's not a man of God. He doesn't know what repentance means repentance means. You hate sin and you love God.
I want to read further what Peter says 2 Peter 2 verse 18 he says: "for speaking out arrogant words of vanity they enticed by fleshly desires by sensuality, those who barely escaped from the ones who live in error, promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption. For by what the man is overcome by this he is enslaved." If a person is overcome by fornication and adultery he's enslaved by it. It's no good just to say: "I made a little mistake and now I am back" my friend. That is not repentance. How can such a person be a leader of others? How can he lead them to Jesus? He himself doesn't know Jesus I go on verse 20 says "for if after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of God and of the Savior Jesus Christ they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first." This person is presumably, he had repented of sin, he had come to Jesus but now he's fallen back in his wickedness. He's enslaved to it. He says "his last state has become worse than the first for it would be have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than having known it to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them. It has happened to them according to the true proverb, a dog returns to its own vomit and a sow after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire. My friend if you want to walk with God, you walk in holiness. There are no half measures with Christ. No sin will go into heaven. God is holy and he does not tolerate sin. God does not tolerate any sin not on sin. Those who walk with Christ are holy, my friend, and especially those who want to call themselves preachers and leaders, those who want to preach the gospel have got to walk straight, because they are going to be accountable to God for every word that they spoke. Their judgment be more harsh than others.
I want to level a warning to whoever is listening to this message. My friend, don't follow a person that does not know what true repentance really means, don't listen to them. Go to Jesus, my friend, and He will teach you. He will teach you about true repentance. He will teach you about hating sin. He will teach you about hating even the garment that is soiled by sin. God does not tolerate sin, my friend. God is a holy God. Jesus Christ is a holy God, He does not tolerate sin my friend. Repentance means you're not gonna go there anymore. You're not doing it anymore, you cast it away from you, my friend. You cannot walk with God and walk with sin, you've got to choose, you've got to choose now or else you're fooling yourself, and if you keep yourself company with people who tolerate sin you're in the wrong fellowship, my friend. The fellowship of Christ is holiness. It means that you reject and you hates it. You take a stand against sin, you're not going to do it. You're not gonna tolerate it,you're not gonna listen to. You're not gonna have it close to you, you're not gonna touch it. If you don't have that attitude, my friend, you're not serious about Jesus, because Jesus hates sin. Jesus died for sin my friend. He didn't die so that you can sin. He died for sin so that we can be redeemed and that we can be made free from sin. God knows how to deliver righteous men from temptation, from times of trouble, but the righteous men, they are people who walk in the light of God, who walk in holiness. God does not tolerate sin my friend. Make no mistake ,repentance means you get rid of it ,you clean your closets you clean out everything, everything that reminds you of sin, you get rid of it ,of any temptation. You don't go there, you just chuck it away and you embrace Christ with all the power that you have my friend, or else you will not get into the kingdom of heaven. It's a narrow door and very very few will make it.

I belive you are a man of God. I am a sinner and an adulter and i want to repent and break forever the chains of sin which held me away from the Truth. i dealt with adultery brother its a demon you need to be delivered from it.
People can have a lot of excuses and reasons good as they may seem but one sin doesn't excuse another. We have to do whats right in spite of others sinning against us. It seems like it is sweet but it is a lure into the pit and other sin and trouble. It causes terrible destruction to your marriage and your children and damage to the love of your spouse ... They may never love you the same again even if they forgive you.

Today's Church is not preaching repentance. I attended Church from little up and never knew what repentance really was. Only in the last year has repentance been defined and understood, I HATE SIN!. Even after we are done with our sins in repentence, we must mourn our sins the rest of our lives. We are to approach salvation with fear and trembling, for there is no guarantee for any of us.
After reading some of these responses, it is being misunderstood about what the brother is saying. Christ/God is holy and does not want us to keep sining taking the blood of Jesus in vain as the Lord explains in the book of Romans. Yes we have been forgiven from sin. But we have the free will to choose to continue the walk on this "narrow road" by being sin conscious to "run this race", and to block the "fiery darts" of the evil one. Those of us with our whole armor can see him from afar and can fight in the spirit and not fall into sin.
What about those who struggle with certain sins? It would seem like he's saying that they don't truly love God. (Not to put him down or anything)

Нехорошо просто сказать: "Я сделал небольшую ошибку, и теперь я вернусь", мой друг. Это не покаяние. Как такой человек может быть лидером других? Как он может вести их к Иисусу? Он сам не знает Иисуса.
Я иду дальше, в стихе 20 говорится: "Ибо если, избегнув скверн мира через познание Господа и Спасителя нашего Иисуса Христа, опять запутываются в них и побеждаются ими, то последнее бывает для таковых хуже первого". Этот человек, по-видимому, покаялся в грехе, он пришёл к Иисусу, но теперь он впал в своё нечестие. Он порабощён им. Он говорит, что его последнее состояние стало хуже, чем первое, потому что "...лучше бы им не познать пути правды, нежели, познав, возвратиться назад от преданной им святой заповеди. Но с ними случается по верной пословице: пёс возвращается на свою блевотину, и вымытая свинья идёт валяться в грязи".
Мой друг, если ты хочешь ходить с Богом, ты ходишь в святости. У Христа нет полумер. Ни один грех не войдёт на небо. Бог - свят, и Он не терпит греха. Бог не терпит никакого греха. Те, кто ходит с Иисусом, святы, мой друг, и, особенно те, кто хочет называть себя проповедниками и лидерами; те, кто хочет проповедовать Евангелие, должны ходить прямо, потому что они будут ответственны перед Богом за каждое слово, которое они говорили. Они будут более судимы, чем другие.

Общество Христа - это святость. Это значит, что ты отвергаешь и ненавидишь это. Ты выступаешь против греха, ты не собираешься это делать. Ты не будешь терпеть это, ты не будешь слушать это. Ты не будешь иметь это близко к себе, ты не будешь прикасаться к этому. Если у тебя нет такого отношения, мой друг, тогда ты - не серьёзен об Иисусе, потому что Иисус ненавидит грех.
Иисус умер за грех, мой друг. Он не умер, чтобы ты мог грешить. Он умер за грех, чтобы мы моли быть искупленными, и чтобы мы были освобождены от греха. He cannot answer you. He passed on to be with Jesus on January 19, 2020. Repentance means to be sorry about all your sins and to turn from all your wrongful ways. You turn around, go the other way. Be Holy because without Holiness you will Not see Jesus. The Unrighteous will Not Inherit Jesus Everlasting Kingdom. We must be pure in heart. Guard your own heart more than anything else. Andrea Parks hi there I hear what you're saying ... but his wisdom is truth of scripture as we grow up in grace. Ultimately, we must cooperate with he Holy Spirit some folks who are addicted have not been chosen of God yet or have not fully surrendered which is why they struggle.... it's a humbling surrender to Christ and then He makes us new creations in Him. And we begin to follow His teachings etc. hope that helps! As long as folks still have breath, we can intercede for those who are still lost or excusing sin.
I will add, from my understanding repentance is a daily ongoing till eternity behavior... a choice to obey Christ.
