Outrageous! Poor people! My mum is in the exact same situation at Summerset Mt Denby. It breaks my heart! Something needs to be done about this quickly!
Summerset in Cambridge are currently forging ahead with a massive two story building which will no doubt comprise the Office, recreation centre and probably appartments or assisted living units. No apparent shortage of cash for the huge new Cambridge Village. Give them a call.
I have been bullied by experts. I asked what the vibration was? The answer was "nothing". Next time I asked "It's you Jo, it's in your head." Weeks went buy, and I was told "You need a psychiatrist!". So I paid $4,200 for a professional Acoustic Engineer. The week's results look pretty dramatic!! ...I am obviously bombarded by vibration daily, and the sounds recorded are well above the safe recommendations for noise in a domestic setting. The fact that other residents don't hear it is not the point! Non-restorative sleep is ruining my health. The Village 'complaints procedure' locks residents out of legal action - the obvious next move to get redress. is never mentioned when you sign an Occupational Rights Agreement (ORA).
