We understand there is a HUGE demand for Band-Maid (rightfully so), and we will do our best with our upload schedule to fulfill requests. Our upload schedule we do hope to increase, and we go through a variety of artists to keep the channel fluid & to make sure we oblige through requests! We love the diversity of artists/music we react too! Therefore, we will never just focus on one, because going through the spectrum of different genres is so much fun! Obi-Wan Kanami, the lead guitarist not only shreds like this but composed this and most other Band-Maid songs. Genius, maestro, Rock goddess.
The Lead guitar is Kanami Tono. AKA 'Mincho'. She has her own cheat code in Guitar Hero. The Konami cheat is: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start 🙂

Glad to see you healthy. The Maids are back in the US in May playing a music festival.They played this song when they opened for Guns N' Roses last month.
They should have had Saiki drop a mic at the end of this song. Although that would be showing off and BAND-MAID does not do that. Also, if I didn't know better I would agree they are not human. Except I saw then Live in October and not only are they human (although on a much higher level than me) but they are funny and awesome as they interact with the crowd. Band-Maid forever. Peace. 3.12

It's not only the girls of Band-Maid who do not show off. Humility and politeness are traditional values of Japanese people in general (even hard rockers). In their culture, when you elevate yourself, you are implicitly putting other people below you. I love the fact that these ladies can be so sweet, humble and polite while putting out such awesome high-energy rock music (and beautiful acoustic pieces too), and also being goofy and funny off stage. ❤❤❤❤❤

You can literally pick random. They are that good. Hit machines! However, if you want my favorites then: Dice, Gion Cho, Different MV. Live Real Existence, Onset, Play.
Love your banter. And you have a chance with Band-Maid. The rhythm guitarist didn’t even know how to play guitar. She had to learn while they were recording and touring. Now she has her own signature Zemaitis guitar. And I agree with the others. Try a live video like Domination or Real Existence
You might really want to go to songs like "Play" Official Live and them "Real Existence" Live to really get their live experience, their new songs like this one from their new EP are MV for now. Superior songs, but I do like to see them live.

Seeing these ladies perform this live this past Oct was next level amazing. I am so happy you ladies are discovering this amazing band and you cant go wrong with anything in there catalog. Freedom is a great choice, but a favorite of my daughter and mine is Choose Me. Merry Christmas and I cant wait for your christmas light Band Maid light show, it will be awesome for sure.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this song performed live flawlessly in B-M's pre-US concert in Tokyo and dropped my jaw😱 like you did😄. I believe so did many of American audience at 12 venues. This song has been normally played in the middle of the setlist to give Saiki some break. Most of the audience at B-M's one-man (or one-person) concerts had, of course, already known their skills and talents. They played this song, however, as opening at three festivals (Download Japan / Summer Sonic in Japan and Aftershock in USA) and in Guns N' Roses concert in Japan as support to the legendary band. Yeah! they showed off their skills and talents to the audience who knew nothing about the girls in maid outfit on the stage. I felt as if I heard them screaming "Hey guys! Listen to us and open your eyes wide! We are not the persons that you think ! Salute us!"😍
Yeah, blast the neighbours with Band-Maid this xmas, they'll never know what's coming at them 🤘🏻🎄😂
Back in 2015-2017 (and even occasionally today) you'd hear some commentator (I've heard several) say, "C'mon, are those girls REALLY playing those instruments?" My return comment was always, "Yes, those ladies ARE actually playing their instruments. Perhaps you should stop by, and they might teach you a few things".

Thank you for responding to BAND-MAID. There are also lots of "Dice," "Sense," and "Blooming" catchy rock. If you feel a little lonely and want to meet someone, the ballads of "Daydreaming" and "About Us" are also recommended. Of course I cried many times.

From Japan Thank you for BAND-MAID's reaction. BAND-MAID is a pure live hard rock band.
They opened the American Aftershock festival with from now on. On subsequent live tours, it is performed as a rest song for vocalist Saiki.
There are a lot of fan videos on RUclips now.
They have nearly 130 original songs, 5 of which are instrumental. The 5 members have great talent, but they think they are still lacking, so they are always striving to improve their playing skills. That's why fans are always surprised by new songs. Enjoy their changing and evolving music.
Even the most casual fan of Band-Maid would have immediately commented on the fact that Saiki Atsumi isn't in the video.
One thing is clear. You both love Band Maid. The rest is family ;-))

Thank you for returning to BAND-MAID! For what it's worth, when you're watching a video, it's likely easier to use the keyboard for backing up a bit when you pause. Spacebar pauses and plays (obvs), and then left arrow backs up 5s, and right arrow skips forward 5s (or 10s, I can't remember). Good luck with the channel!
I watch your reactions and see myself 3 years ago when I first found Band Maid. Get a glass of wine, sit back and listen to Dawn Winery Theme . I swear the ladies make those instruments speak!!!
From Japan I recommend watching BAND-MAID's latest live footage.
They announced that the Shibuya Eggman live video distribution held in September will be broadcast on December 24th, and the live at Tokyo Garden Theater will be broadcast simultaneously on January 9th. Shibuya Eggman is a small home live venue from their obscure days, Garden Theater is the largest venue ever with a capacity of 8000 people. Tickets can be purchased on the fan site.
They may not be looking to you as band members but they would love as Maidiacs.
Heh, you consider this an early Christmas present, huh? Well, last year, literally on Christmas Day (I'm in Singapore, so only one hour behind Japan, but it might have been Christmas Eve in the east coast of America), Band-Maid livestreamed an Acoustic Christmas Concert. It was the most unforgettable concert I ever watched online......
I wish you were there to watch that concert. I don't personally celebrate Christmas, but that was the best Christmas present that I ever got in my life... 😊

If you think watching these ladies (mainly lead guitarist Kanami) will give you carpel tunnel syndrome then I suggest another all female Japanese band. A lot of Band-Maid fans who are long time Hard Rock & Metal listeners will swear to you that Band-Maid is currently the best live Hard Rock band on the planet to come along in the last 30 years. But they or I say we will also tell you the best current live Heavy Metal band now in the same time is Lovebites.
They are mostly a Power Metal band who have been together for 6 years that also do Thrash, Speed Metal, Progressive Metal, Symphonic Metal, and other sub-genres. The two lead guitarists Midori and Miyako are really something to behold. Their shredding and technical abilities will blow you away. Not many duo guitarists out there are at the same level. They actually shame a lot of guitarists and the band as a whole with equally fantastic skills shame many western bands.
Please react to them. Start off with Holy War (live) Thunder Vengeance (live), or When Destinies Aligned (MV or live). From there with more reactions then you'll discover why they are considerd the best metal band now.

Band maid doesn't have a bad song...that's the trick of a good Japanese quality control...instrumentals like On set or Without holding back corroborate it...Turn me On, Play, Blooming, Warning, Choose me, etc etc... .choose anyone
Nice reaction - BUT- you need to either get some good headphones or speakers! It sounds very tiny and low quality- and im sure it sounds nearly as bad to YOU. You cant properly appreciate music if you are listening to it with poor quality speakers.
