Her "Out of the Blue" album is a work of genius. I don't know why the tabloids tried to do a competition between her and Tiffany. With all-do respect, I like Tiffany, and there are 2 songs that I liked from her, but there is no comparison between her and Debbie Gibson. She always used to speak very highly of Billy Joel in those days. I wonder if they ever got together to do a duet. If I were him, after listening to the 'Out of the Blue' record, I would say "Heck yeah!!! And not because she dedicated me in her album". :)

I know the video ur talking about. They were in a dressing room and when cc deville saw Debbie he said "What a coincidence, here's my fiance Debbie Gibson!" He put his arm on debbie's shoulder and even kissed her on the back of her head. Then Debbie said "He's totally crazy".
Hard to comprehend that. She deserved both. It’s strange, there are photos of her and Billie Joel. Surely, they could’ve made that happen (and won a Grammy for it!) Maybe they still can but I don’t think he’s writing new music these days
