The deck is really nice. Thanks for showcasing what Commander can do, I’ve just been using him as a discard off Dark Golem and then his banish eff to play the trap. I was trying a build that used board breakers and struggled hard in diamond, and then switched to a handtrap lineup with the usual 3 ash, 3 max c, 3 imperm and 2 nib. Had way more success and cleared diamond 4 +5. I’ll be interested to see what build you end up on at the higher ranks
Always have a soft spot for ancient gear, a simple deck, no crazy combos, pure otk power. Maybe start with them before learn to play an earth machine deck
I got rolled by this deck due to not having tribute counter. Even if I lost I do like these kind of deck that change up to scene to not go all in on meta counter set up
Playing a very similar deck, I'm surprised though u dont play any handtraps :O My deck is 50 crads bc of that. And i play 3 Chaos Golems... Just in case :D
at first I tried to add anti Ash, with cross out & called. and 3 maxxC. but I was also surprised, after several attempts this deck didn't really need all that. this deck became very flexible, with the right order it could still pass through many Negates. for example, it can be seen when fighting tearlament. there I made a blunder and missclick, but was saved because 1 draw was not a handtrap
@@ianz18Ch Yeah, that was pretty lucky! :D I think I might also try this kind of deck if it doesnt work out now... I think whats important playing 2nd rly are some board breakers. Aspacially forbidden droplet (expensive URs I still need to craft T_T) But I remember how one Ash could end the turn with the old deck (I played with the Infinitrack Engine before the release of the new cards), so I kinda wanna keep some protection.
I think you're going to make both decks weaker by mixing them. The different engines all need their normal summons to perform the combos. Maybe the only way to play Earth Machine and Ancient Gear together is to pack the deck full of Vernusylph cards, so that you can special summon from gy if you already used your normal summon. I might be wrong though , I'll have to experiment in solo mode.

I don't want to build a new ancient gear deck, but if they can improve the classic earth machine I might consider a couple of cards

I've dueled 16 times with new the support in Master Duel I've lost twice and one of those was a missplay Ancient Gears are almost unstoppable now.
do you think it can mix with any of the machine support viably?
