This is the literal "That's how I met your mother" scene. Such a great movie. 2:29 I love how despite her smacking him over and over, he still tries to help her. He's so sweet. lol
Just heard the news that Kirstie Alley has passed away. This movie franchise is the one series that I know she was best known for and I love her character in here. RIP Kirstie Alley
hearing that Kirstie passed away today brought me flashbacks of watching Look Who's Talking for the very first time on VHS tape when i was a little kid. My dad or my mom recorded the movie on HBO. It's still my favorite movie.
It makes me think of the scene earlier with her mother, who said a woman does Artificial Insemination "if she is very ugly, or a lesbian. This is not something a beautiful, intelligent girl, who can have any man she wants". I could be looking into it too much, but in someway in this first interaction, he finds her attractive.
This film is very well written. In the scene alone, they established Travolta’s character as utterly reckless and immature, while also making him extremely caring and likeable. And that’s without even knowing much about who he is as a character. 👏
I remember a lady went into labor at the ShopRite where I worked at I had to calm her down the whole time man she crushed my hand nearly to a pulp I remember all the applause I got from my coworkers and the EMTs This was back in 2016.
my uncle who was a cab driver actually made a emergency siren for his cab, it was shaped like a oversized baby rattle that lit up and read "baby on the way"
The sign says no smoking around the allergic driver but John Travolta's character smoked a cigarette when he brought the purse back to Kirstie Alley's character.
I wish movies were still like this. I was watching a modern Karate kid movie, and the guy said he wasn't a lesbian. I was shocked they got away with that.
He drove like a maniac and could have hurt her baby or worse..... He did mean well though, wanting to get her to the hospital on time but still he drove dangerously and can't blame her for being mad at him

“Slow down! The first stage of labor can take hours!”
“Yeah, so can the mid-town traffic!”
😂😂😂
Let's appreciate that he cared enough to go as fast as he could rather than just drive normally

The times that we recorded this movie on VHS when it was on TV.
They don't make movies like this anymore.
I agree I miss these kind a movies but when am ready I still go back and watch them
No they don't
Not at all.
Because it doesn’t have potential to be a billion dollar franchise. That’s all execs look for now.
Yes they do. Knocked Up, This is 40, Etc
Ahahahaha, this movie is the best out of the trilogy. Underrated movie
Of course it's the best. Back in the 80s the original was always the best! Lol!

Well, when they shot the film and made this movie, both of them were married, but really loved to work with each other.
@@johnathonwaggoner358 you're right Kristie Alley fell in love with John Travolta but she decided to remain faithful to her husband

I love watching this as an adult and understanding all the jokes that flew over my head as a child 😂 still one of my fav films!
He probably drove like that because he wanted to avoid a birth in the back of his cab! 😂😂😂
Charley J yes, in real life it’s a bloody mess and he would have to clean it up.
Ya think???
I never would've thought that 🤦♀️
Gee, that’s using that big brain of yours! 🙄
I think it was more about he didn’t want to have to deliver the baby himself.
"Don't touch me ,just don't touch me ,I ll just have this baby without you touching me " that cracked me up lol 🤗
Her face when he asks if she's a lesbian. 😂
The Tommyknocker Man it’s priceless and I think other people would have that reaction almost all of the time every once in a while
Never say that to a woman in labor
She should’ve won an Oscar just for that reaction

John Travolta is a good actor.
He always was. It's just that he was picking bad films.

I totally agree with you on that
When it comes to John Travolta characters my favorite has always been James. Forget Danny Zuko.
Really was a genius plot, honestly.

That screech @ 0:32...😂
This is what’s missing from Crazy Taxi - John Travolta’s character.
