Yeah and "where's he been all year?" How is James supposed to believe that Albert is "so good" to his other kids if he wasn't seen once for the whole first year of his kids' life?
Even though this movie is a comedy, this part has so much emotion. Molly is coming to the realization that she's in love with James. This scene and the scene where James is pouring his heart out to Mikey and Molly can hear them gets me every time.
@@dredrikTIMMONS I’m not sure what your comment has to do with what I said, but since you brought it up, James was operating under completely false information from Molly. So his reaction isn’t exactly that crazy. For all he knows, this Albert guy is crazy.
@@FreshSpecimens true, he was operating under false info but he coulda handled it better than putting the guy in a headlock and fighting him. he has to control his emotions better.
James was right not to trust Albert. Albert turns up after all this time and wasn't there when Mikey was born and he hurt and betrayed Molly by making it out with another woman.
Daniel Williamson Well, she shouldn’t be surprised that she was betrayed. Albert was married when he got Molly pregnant, so she knew the type of guy he was all along.
James doesn't trust Albert and has good reason not to. Molly tells James and everyone else that she had Mikey through artificial insemination. James has been watching Mikey a lot over the past year and not once has he seen this guy(who shows up out of the blue claiming to be Mikey's father) with Molly or Mikey. How does James know that Albert isn't some stranger trying to kidnap Mikey.
@@xkee2013 because politicians are making it a big deal. It's influenza, nothing more. Just take the proper precautions like you do with influenza. Those senators who wanted to sell their stock is who created this mess.
They wanted the economy to tank, so the stock market would crash, so they could get rid of their stock beforehand, they didn't care if it hurts the average person or not, all they were doing is looking out for themselves.
“Are you the sperm donor?” Gets me losing it every time 😂 But James was right, Albert was pretty much that, a sperm donor while James irrespective of whether Mikey was his kid or not, loved and protected him since infancy having formed an instant bond upon seeing him born. He even fainted. He’s Mikey’s real father.
I agree with MajorGainz, if there's someone home, most people would knock or ring the doorbell first before letting themselves in. Besides: there'd be little point in letting himself in if he didn't think anyone was home, he came to see Mikey, and if he knew Molly wasn't home, he would have assumed Mikey was with her.
@@MasterBuilderDragon Being a philanderer has nothing to do with courtesy such as knocking before entering a room or etiquette. 🤣 I mean, my sister would never cheat on someone or abandon kids if she had them but she has little to no courtesy or manners. lol
Yeah, all Albert did was get Molly pregnant. James may not be Mikey's father but he's definitely been a father figure to Mikey and Mikey really likes him. There's more to being a parent to a child than just DNA.
Well it’s still really not healthy at all in the slightest. *especially* since molly currently knows now Albert is indeed a serial cheater. Since early on this movie when she LITERALLY JUST WITNESSED IT HERSELF. (In beginning when she out shopping with her friend.)

God, you can hear how both of them are close to tears as they fight. Makes you wonder how many takes that would have taken because it would have been exhausting.
I hate molly in this scene. I think alot have people have said this before but, molly shouldn't have yelled at James because he has raised mikey since birth and even if Albert was his bioligacal father, why does he wait a year to see mikey (I know he might be a busy man but if he had free time in the last year's then why didn't he at least visit mikey)
I personally think once it ended with that other girl he left Molly for he thought he could just crawl back to Molly and continue to use her. That's just my opinion.
