- One of my favorite ETA segments: Eric has an online country music countdown that doesn't go very well. Hi Pitch calls in and is as disgusting as ever which leads to a great discussion. One of the first appearances of Hi pitch's deep voice.

I signed up for Sirius when Stern moved there in 2006. One of the best times in my life...the show was pure gold, and the ETM segments were pull over the truck and cry laughing histerically.

This is still fucking hilarious after all these years. lol. How did Eric manage to ALWAYS be so entertaining? Even here he wasn't even trying and he was so funny just by not making proper transitions between country songs.
Eric's personality flaw is that he could never stop taking himself seriously. It prevented him from ever understanding why people could laugh at him and not feel guilty for doing it
And missed out on so many more acting opportunities and just more opportunities in life as well

Honestly, the Stern show treated Eric the Midget as an ordinary person without any preferential treatment--probably the only people in his life who didn't treat him as special.
I don't know what's funnier - the abject horror of the music, the fact he can't heat what he's doing, the fact he has no clue how bad it is, and in fact thinks it's pretty good, the overall level of delusion in general, or the fact he leaves himself so vulnerable to being messed with, yet isn't aware....I just, I dunno...It's so perfectly awful, I could almost listen to it for up to an hour...the funny things is, if they asked him to produce a parody show, he couldn't do it...but he can do it when making next to no effort whatsoever...
PS Another amusing sidebar, I must say, this was Hi Pitch at his most inventive...and actually shows his sense of humour is more highly evolved than Eric the M''s, So bizarre.
