Seeing Kobe’s section in MJ’s documentary “The Last Dance” broke my heart all over again. His homage towards Jordan was so touching and sincere. Never heard him salute Jordan like that before. It’s still hard to believe he isn’t around anymore 🙁😢😢😔
RIP Kobe😥
Kobe goat(b) 💜💛🙏🏼
"Seeing Kobe...Broke my heart all over again". Man, I don't even wanna watch anything related to Kobe anymore. I'm still not ready to the loss.
@@samfisher2306 I feel you man because I'm in the same boat. I have not cried for anybody that I'm not related to like I cried the day Kobe passed. It is sad because that is my sporting hero.
RIP, nobody got closer than Kobe.
Academy award winning docu. series. Indeed.
An Emmy for sure.
Facts💯
How? Jordan is biased with the clips
Not hating on Jordan but most docs that win the awards show everything in a documentary like that Jordan controlled the whole narrative with what’s allowed to be shown or not.
@@reyrey9752 Okay the real, lie about Gambling, Late nights, Punched Kerr, mistreated Tony K...I guess that narrative isnt dirty enough you many. All documentaries leave pieces on the chopping floor the Producer, Director and Editor chooses that's nothing new...cant please everybody.
Weird because MJ said he will not endorse someone he DID NoT know personally... That for me was more reasonable than endorsing him just because of his color.
BINGO!
Let's say this, say MJ did endorse the guy and the guy becomes the Mayor. A couple weeks go by and ugly truth is being shared to the public about the grann guy's past on how he was involved with child trafficking. MJ would be dragged along because he endorsed him and it would have tarnish his reputation, his legacy, and his fortune and fame.
leen azarde it’s always not about endorsements of another black man but you can hear clearly how racists the older white man was. Jordan could have said something about that
Doesn't seem reasonable to me. He could have quite easily researched the two candidates, it was a cop out then, and it's a cop out now. He's cappin
@@ccae07 they probably took the weirdest most obscure sound bite from that entire man's life and you just generalized him as a racist
I think he did it because of his mother he didn't know nothing about none of that stuff
You know Converse are kickin themselves right now.
More like Adidas was kickin themselves rn. Jordan loved their shoes and wanted to endorse them.
Adidas punchin air rn.
Vincenzo Mackjula So is Adidas.
Ironically they are owned by Nike now haha
Converse is still a top brand. Adidas is as well
Mike was a high stakes kinda guy, lives for the those moments. You can tell it gives him a thrill.
The players were looking at Barcelona 92 as vacation too. You don't wanna go on vacay with a person you dont't like.
MJs game is to clean, to quick, very fundamentally sound, id say he has the most watchable, graceful, beautiful game ever, so much flare with out show boasting, always keeping his cool, black cat assassin, who ever missed watchn him play in the 90s missed the 🐐
I agree with you. Jordan had a beautiful game, but Lebron is the Goat!
@@halfurbanhalfsuburban8219 L36ron is the goat for you buddy, not for most of the world... Brons game is ugly af btw
Koasizm World well just so you know the “ENTIRE” world thought that the world was flat at one point. Just because more ppl believe something doesn’t make it true... that’s called an argument from authority and is fallacious. So just agree to disagree.
@@koasizmworld1927 Yes, Unfortunately, LBJ lacks the grace by which MJ entertained the world...in the Meta Verse MJ will be the GOAT until he leave the planet'
@@bmoretruthful6403 100% agree.
Stop it Chris! Jordan does not have to endorse nobody he does not know personally. MJ was all about winning basketball. He is not a politician.
MJ=🐐🐐🐐🐐
OG 23 GOAT
Republicans Buy Sneakers Too
Listen they even cut Isaiah out of the Converse shoe commercial. Bird standing right in the front of him.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LMFAO I said the same thing😂
@Ernest Thompson yes, and they try cutting him out by standing smack dab in front of him, I will repeat, thank you.😊
Jordan's politics is his own. Disappointed that Broussard had to say what he did about MJ's stance on his personal politics. Invasive.
This show has taken me back so many times as a 10 years old boy immigrant obsessed with the bulls in southside Chicago in 92. Oh I missed those days.
It shouldn't take a Black Athlete or Black Celebrity telling you to vote or who to vote for..To get you to vote..When it comes to civil rights Black people you need to take responsibility for yourself..Its not Mikes responsibility to get you to vote lol..And LBJ has not put anyone in public office..He has help build schools and stuff..MJ has done that too..He just not talking about it
You are absolutely right on if you help just help, why talking if you are just helping..... that sometimes feels like you help so that you can be able to talk.
LeBron will never have shyt above MJ just because LeBron get political and doesn’t know half of the shyt he’s talking about majority of the time. MJ said time and time, his not into politics and that’s his right if he doesn’t want to speak on politics . Cut the shyt Chris
Last time I check is the Bulls Last Dance not LeBron Last Chance smh
Lmao!😂🤣
Not the last dance he retired with the wizards
@@arizonaFIREent phil said it was the last dance
WHEN YOU ARE AN ICON, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BE A ROLE MODEL
Can we put this to rest ,MJ, Kobe, Lebron
It's been over.
Been done
Put WHAT to rest? LeBron is TheGOAT..the BEST basketball player
EVER. Its no debate, not about rings- which are a TEAM's title.
Indeed. Michael Jordan faced 7 of the top 10 all time scorers. 9 of the top 10 all time block leaders. 7 of the top 10 all time assist leaders. 8 of the top 10 all times steal leaders. Faced a much tougher era of defense with hand cheking allowed & harder fouls etc. MJ is still considered the 🐐 by most people 2 decades after his retirement, that says it all...
@@aceofspades2966 we can hear you crying little boy! Lolz
Kobe is like Goku(Dragonball)always training and all ways looking for the next challenge.
If Mike was offended that people compared Clyde "The Glide" Drexler with him, just imagine what he must be feeling like seeing all the new Millenials daring to compare LeBron James with him? I'm sure that must grate with him. I'm sure he must wish he could still lace them up and destroy LBJ so that people would stop with that nonsense.
He wouldn’t destroy lebron stopped it
@@TheCocoband PLEASE ..ALL MJ WOULD HAVE TO SAY TO LBJ IS...DELONTE WEST IS YOUR DADDY AND LBJ WOULD CRY LIKE A LIL GIRL

The Nike story just adds to the fact that he's the GOAT
Amazing how Mike protected Nike over Reebok.
All the players under Nike covered up the Reebok logo during the ceremony. Nike told them to do that. Scottie, Barkley and Jordan did as told.
@@darththomarius6751 I'm sure they were instructed to do so but it was clever.
@@darththomarius6751, wasn't talking about that. I was talking about how Nike was a nobody until MJ signed on and the rest is history. I been around long enough to remember that. Nike more than likely wasn't going to make it if he never signed. Adidas is still kicking themselves for not being prepared.
@@bpraise517it wasnt that clever. They just covered the logo. That just another overblown Jordan story. You should cut it out!
Nike was prepared and made their own luck.
The luck was Michael Jordan moms made him go. Because he wasn't going to go!
Just because you can doesn't mean you SHOULD especially in 1990's...Chris is speaking from the 2020 mindset. Did Chris just put LEBRON on the level of MUHAMMAD ALI? PLEASE
CHRIS IS ANOTHER PAID MOUTHPIECE FOR LBJ
Thats what I just said, didnt Ali go to jail for refusing to be drafted into Vietnam
@@darrellhardy90 Yeah, his useless rant about political advocacy was totally self serving. Black athletes aren't responsible for the plight of Black America but if they choose to speak out so be it.
Lebron lost some credibility on the china civil rights issue when he didnt wanna upset the apple cart he clearly put the business of the nba over civil issues. Very unlike ali when he spoke out against attacking the Vietnamese for American interest.
Jordan stood up for Abdul Rauf.
Dude was a average player at best
Every time the media bashed MJ he clapped back by silencing them on the court. 👏🏾
Big facts!
First thing I do after watching a last dance episode is wait for Chris’s reaction lol
How many times did Chris bring up Lebron James in this post?
That's what I was thinking, smh... Tired of the bs fr fr.
he didn’t mention how lebron was mad people in the nba were standing up against China, Supporting Hong Kong. It would have hurt his pockets. Lebron is far from an activist.
It’s silly and boring lol. There is no comparison Jordan is levels above Lebron
Mike stood up for him Chris. Look it up on youtube
The greatest episodes in TV history
A gambling problem is somebody without money gambling repeatedly thinking he's gonna make money. Being a billionaire and gambling is not a problem but a hobby. It is just like him playing golf all the time. It's just his favorite past time, not a problem.
MJ's dad said he doesn't have a gambling problem, he has a competition problem.
@@Chessbox09 Exactly.
I remember back in the day Filas was the bomb. Finally I Left Adiddas.
Those suade fias were fire
Yup I had Grant Hill's FILA's. Those were dope.
It’s fair to criticize Jordan. But 2 things happened in the 80s and 90s that gave today’s athletes the luxury of saying what they want. Jordan and hip hop. It’s not a coincidence that those 2 things coincided in a rise in interest and acceptance of black culture by white kids growing up in those decades. Those kids became decision makers, policy makers, business owners, and consumers in 2000 and 2010. Jordan, secondarily as Chris mentioned exploded Nike into a powerhouse with wide influence in sports and business. So decades later these young players have little risk financially and in their endorsement money so they can take stand up and speak out on social injustices. The context is completely different.
As Stephen A Smith said, LeBron became a social warrior 10 years or so into his career...WHICH SUGGESTS THAT ONCE LEBRON REALIZED THAT HE COULDN'T BEAT MICHAEL JORDAN'S BASKETBALL RESUME AND HE COULDN'T BE THE GOAT OF BASKETBALL, LEBRON WENT THE MUHAMMAD ALI ROUTE BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT MJ CHOSE TO BE AN IDOL BY WHAT HE DID ON THE FLOOR ONLY. Jordan said that McDonalds, Nike, Gatorade will come to him as long as he had GAME.
Really, did you remember travon Martin ? Not you don’t. Where’s was Jordan? Well he was North Carolina, but never said anything like always. Never sacrificed anything for his community. Kareem called him out. Listen lebron got his Nike contract before playing any professional basketball . Jordan never wanted to help anyone . Even Pippen with his contract.
Love hearing your're input. Your're the one who called the big 3 in Wade Bron and Bosh! Other ppl were trying to take credit haha
I think Cris rolled a backwoods before this.
😂😂😂😂
🤣😂
I did
My man, Chris Broussard. You just nailed it! Yes, Jordan admitted to not being qualified to speak on some issues. But you, Chris, just provided the current and future professional sports players with the solution. Use your social capital and link up with the professionals who are qualified to learn and support. EXCELLENT solution.
Coz there’s no question that MJ made it all possible from changing the game of basketball into an artistic way, changing the salary back then, and so on and a lot..! Our GOAT Forever MJ!
Broussard working overtime to drop some content. Appreciate that. Respect.
How does Cris know black America didn’t agree with Michael? Stick to facts buddy and basketball not conjecture.
Very good conscious take. Bless.
Go ahead Jordan take what u want. We all know what I'm saying
Jordan didn't speak politics, but apparently donated money to campaign's, which is very important as well.
Jordan don’t want anyone being mentioned in same sentence as him. That means LeBron fan boys need to stop trying to mentioned him in same sentence as Jordan, before Jordan turned back the clock and comeback to spank him😂
Jean Lamour Jordan has nothing much over Lebron..
Baraka Alec Nathaniel you mean 3 more rings 1 MVP 1 DPY 9 scoring titles 2 steals leader, A killer intstinct which is second to none and an array of skills which made him GOAT!! But you right not much over LeBron 😂
I don’t know why they make out Lebron like he’s some big activist, all he does is says the popular thing at the moment.
Why do u say that man! He speaks out about it 🙌 so be thankful smh
@@cl503cammy He speaks the truth? You mean by looking to see what others are saying and then jumping on the bandwagon? Or highjack others' opinions as he did with Steph's statements that he would not be going to the White House, making it about him by calling the president a bum? Or putting his name on a school that he paid ZERO dollars for? Fyi, he used money from his foundation but zero from his own pocket. Man, I salute LBJ for being such a great politician and getting people to believe his pretense.
Lebron is a fraud. You need proof? Hong Kong
Peter MaDash exactly
endorsing Hillary Clinton was not popular sir trump won.... sending kids from your hometown to school for free is not popular or all athletes would do it... hate on covid-19 not bron thanks
I pray Michael has heard you comments about speaking out on the plight of African Americans. His voice would be priceless and is needed today. Thank God for LaBron!
Jordan was giving his feeling then about Isiah.
He gave his feelings last week we he rolled his eyes after listening to him lieing about not shaking the Bulls hand, with his good dunking his head to slither by them, a classless coward. And just because Boston did that to them, does not mean you do it to a team that was respectful enough to shake your team hands after you brutally beat him down, by the way I loved that ki d of badketball.....GO BULLS!
lady beings steeler lady, you should love that kind of basketball. The steelers hard nose play won me over along time ago. I am Falcons first then Steelers.
I dont think Isiah was lying he just didnt realize Jordan was that much of a baby!
Keep in mind the trail blazers also passed on Jordan because they had Drexler so they took Sam Bowie
Thought this was about Michael Jordan? Tired of everything being political.
Agreed. Jordan wasn't the only successful black basketball nor professional athlete who did not feel responsible for all things black. Everyone is not the same nor have the same interests and missions in life. MJ has invested in black causes and has been philanthropic but unlike some, he has not drawn attention to it .Thank God for LeBron and others like him who have reached back and was interested in education for the kids in Akron because that's where it starts.

Chris, he gave a donation to that senator's campaign, he said as much in the documentary.
Chris Broussard=GOAT
i liked the show and enjoyed Kobe's part talking about MJ, I also liked the fact he commented on the political stage that 1 he didn't know the person 2 his comment was an off the cuff joke and 3 he donated money to his election. He was a roll model and i get his point on this. I feel that people have a choice and instead of giving an opinion just respect that person.
Da #1 fan boy chris Broussard
Man I dunno about leaving Dame time of today’s Dream Team. Dude is on another level, and one of the best PGs in The Association!
Let’s make this clear folk NO TOP LEVEL ATHLETE was taking a political stance in the 80’s, 90’s or early 00’s idk why people continue to target MJ for not supporting or getting involved with politics...Not MAGIC, ISIAH, TYSON, neither was SHANNON SHARPE!!! since he’s so woke now he was playing in the NFL in the 90’S & he was quiet as a mouse...
Nobody:
Chris: Labraaaahn
The difference between MJ and LBJ...
Lebron proclaimed himself the GOAT
Mj took the throne from the GOATs and made them all realise he was the new sheriff
Your view on athletes and politics isn't quite comfortable with me, especially when James has very biased, ignorant view of some issues, insulting Americans on behalf of Chinese communists.
PERFECT COMMENT JUNGSAN YANG...LBJ LIKES TO TALK ABOUT STUFF THAT HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND AND IT JUST MAKES HIM LOOK STUPID
@@davidconejr4206 I'm confused as to how he doesnt understand it or how does it make him look stupid? Maybe to you he may look the way but for a lot of young black boys he doesn't. Him speaking out on trevon Martin, colin Kaepernick and many other issues of our time has meant a lot to the black community. This isn't a knock towards you or anyone else that feels that way. Just letting you know how he has inspired literally a generation of not only future athlete's but dr's, lawyers politicians etc. It means a lot to a black boy to see someone who looks like them on tv speaking out against the injustices of our country. It may not mean nothing to you but trust me when I tell you it means a lot to other of others who are disenfranchised.

Good pt abt Jordan having nothing to lose.
Michael Jordan made Nike Nike didn't make Michael Jordan brand because regardless Jordan would have had a shoe deal with any brand because he was a superstar and he would have been a good sponsor to sell the shoe as a good NBA player with business potential mindset like he did he for Nike 30 + years later The Goat 🐐
Gotta thank Jordans Mom for that Nike deal
Jordan goat of all goats
His "competetive problem" justifying his gambling issues is plausible for me.
I mean the guy was ultra competetive. It doesn't take a lot to tick him off. When your winning against him you can trash talk him into playing indefinitely until he beats you
See why people said that because they were similar Drexler and Jordan they were the two of the best shooting guards in league at that time they both lead there team in scoring with winning records they both could fly in the air or glide in the air Michael wasl just more than edgier with artistic game on the offensive side and he played better defense all around than Clyde
What do you make of MJ's comment that Horace Grant was the main source for all the negative things about him in "The Jordan Rules" book, but Horace Grant said he wasn't the source of any of it? Who's telling the truth?
Wow, just stop the politics dude.
They talked about the gambling. Stop complaining Jordan haters.
Qing James is only into politics if it benefits him.
USA olympic committee - "Jordan we want you on the olympic dream team"
Jordan - "I'll only play if Isiah aint on the team"

thats the only conversation that I believe happened.
a bigger Dream Team snub than Isaiah if we are talking production on the court around that time, was Dominique Wilkins. He was an unreal scorer and a solid defender. I wish he was on that team (he was injured so he couldn't have actually played, i don't think-- but they should have reserved that 12th spot for either Isaiah or Dominique)
What contributions did you want Michael Jordan to do Chris? He is the athlete that made the sneaker deals famous and profitable. He is the one that showed athletes of today that you can make more money off the court than your team salary. Guys like LeBron, KD, Kawhi etc owe a lot to Jordan. They can speak about a lot of stuffs because they know they have GUARANTEED money in the bank. As soon as the China issue came, LeBron went real quiet because he knew where the money was
When you pitching quarters, you got a problem

All of the cats today know that they need to pay homage. Including PanJames
Dominque Wilkins should been on the dream team as well
Magic had already said Jordan was best in the world a couple of years before the Olympics.
'Deserve' and 'should' are 2 different things.
Jordan was lucky to have nike as well. No way his shoes wouldve had the same success with any other brand. The marketing team and the designers at nike were huge in the success of jordan brand.
You think Nike's marketing would work if they signed Sam Bowie or Clyde Drexler instead?
Of course not. Jordan was one of kind basketball player. It was poetry in motion. He competed in the slum dunk contest and won. He won scoring titles then won the MVP and then won championships. Design wise Air Jordan 1 was basically a Converse Weapon in red with a swoosh instead of a star.

Great Dream team!
Chris stop it!!! You don't bet that type of money with people you don't have a clue about. Taking a picture and bet 100k is NOT THE SAME THING
He said I hated isiah but I respect his game never did he say I didn’t want him on the team end the narrative
18:47 - yes they did, Muhammad Ali was at his prime when they excluded him from competing, using Vietnam as an excuse.
Every Episode Chris Goes Out His Way to Praise LeBron while drawing contrast between them both. It's really unnecessary.
Jordan was smart to cover up the reebok with the american flag given the olympic ceremony and all.
Chris. Why did prior back athletes not speak out? Where's Wilt? Where's Oscar? Where's Russel? during their career. Where was Magic? It just wasn't something done until the recent decades. Players have been empowered by the union to do and say what they will.
Dont want to hear about Lebron addressing social issues when he refuses to talk about China's muzzling of NBA players, their concentration camps and their sending us fentanyl. He's THE SAME and isn't biting the hand that feeds him.
Talking bad about Trump is EASY. I do give him props for starting that school though and for living a life free of controversy during his career.
