- Hello youtube, this is my very first 3D animation. When i watched South Park's second short "The Spirit of Christmas" i've been inspired to make a remake of it but in 3D. This would've been a good upload in December but i couldn't wait.

It's kind of amazing how these original videos were some of the first viral videos known publicly from the internet.
Matt and Trey really dug into the culture like a tick and you encapsulated their magic very well.
Was this all made out of Play-Doh? 'Cause that's what this all looks like. Creating the kids Jesus, Santa and the backgrounds, probably weeks of editing, making it all 3D. Dude, you're a fuckin' legend. Keep up the good work. Don't ever stop making content like this.

This needs more visits, this shows me that this platform called "RUclips" has a shitty algorithm.-There are even reviews of another reviews, what crap has become "RUclips"...-But things, like this remade 3d version from the short *The Spirit of Christmas*, it makes me think that this platform has something of future...

Hello! Sorry for the long wait but here I am! First of all, thank you for supporting me by showing that you truly enjoyed the 3D animation. I truly appreciate your recognition and everybody else's on this animation i made.
Now to answer your Qs:
- I used Blender (just that) for me to recreate the whole short.
- Fundamentally, I created the characters from scratch using references(first the body for later use then customize it). I rigged every body part individually (no weights so that the objects do not bend)
- Eyes with Pupils and mouth are essential in this animation (ofc) for the face expression. I used a plane with image material for the mouth in which uses images of all existing South Park mouths (changes on the # sort of the file of the images) I believe its called a 2D face rig.
This is amazing and this deserves so much more attention. The time and effort you put in shows, So Good
