From the very bottom of my heart I want to thank you guys. David, Mike D, Hogan, Jack, B-Whack, Mark, thank you for making music that speaks to my heart and helps me worship my Savior. You will be missed,
Well that explains it ... can't thank you guys enough for the your inspirational music and the 8 concerts I was able to attend! And a new era begins....
Fantastic album. Owned since day 1. And it hasnt left my car stereo. Great stuff guys, you will surely be missed. Can't wait for heaven though; that will be the ultimate awesome-fest
I love how a lot of the artwork corresponds to different album covers you guys have had over the years... Thank you so much for blessing us with your God-given gifts. You will be sorely missed, but for what you have done, I pray with confidence and expectation that each of you will one day hear "Well done, good and trusted servant."
Wow, you guys are amazing! I got the album four days early and had it memorized by the 10th. Best album of all time! And please keep tweeting, making videos, and all of that stuff... Foreverandever, etc. God bless, BradyBoy
just showed this to my boys, as they "accidentally" pulled the cd liner apart while i was listening to the CD and started doing on their own whats in this video. still not sure what to make of the CD yet. loved their last one- this one just has styles so all over the place, and not those 1 or 2 signature songs like the last one had. it was kind of like a "we're closing down the band, everything must go" Cd and they unloaded the entire kitchen sink on the 2 discs.
aha! That's what those poly sheets are for :) Thanks for the tutorial. Congrats on your huge HUGE record sales for opening week - even beating out many secular releases. Looking forward to my vinyl!
the last record of this great group... the silhouette of Crowder poetically covering the cover of his very first record All This I Can Say... yea, they'll be missed... BUT... you can also check out The Digital Age... they're definitely the next line up...
i "LIKEd" this, but i don't "LIKE" that it's your final cd, or that you won't tour anymore. i do "LIKE" that i got to see you when you came to montreal. thanks for the great music, gentlemen !!!
Plus, they have funny youtube videos of the breaking apart and whole form of The Digital Age. And I'm sure most of it is humor, and acting. I'm sure there is no hard feelings. But yeah, I kind of get what your saying though just wanted to make that point.
Many times with Christian bands. Their breaking apart is a calling from the Lord to do so, the idea of the Album "Give us Rest" is hinting at that they all need some good rest. I can sense that message as I listened to the first two singles. And David going solo, was probably a calling to take a break from leading the full band. I do not hold anything against their decision to break apart, because Christian bands are unlike secular bands when deciding to do so.
@RAEF715 Wow, I'd say the opposite. Far from a "kitchen sink" mish-mash -very structured sequences that flow harmoniously as a unit more & more as you listen. Love it all, but tend to listen to sections at a time - 3-4 songs in a section that flow. Listen to Oh My God / I Am A Seed / After All (Holy) as a good example. As to signature songs - so many! Touring to support the CD would have helped, but at least 10 songs on this should've been massive radio hits."Oh Great Love of God" for example.

I refuse to believe it is over. Good bands don't just break up.

There's been so much confusion as to what to do with those silhouettes, I love that you made a video of it! And more stop motion? How fantastical!

Happiest art concept. ;)
Thanks for convincing me to buy the album instead of getting it on itunes. Love all of the creative details
I'd have to agree with you, patty7beth. It flows very nicely, possibly the band's best work. I so wish I'd gotten the vinyl...oh well.

I was wondering what those transparencies were for :)

Does this mean the exploding flower in your silhouetted brain is your fave cover version? Or merely a teachable moment?
I was wondering what the transparencies were for lol.
@MrKerpelWatson Sequence 7
They sound like Coldplay.
1:28 -1:29 - How come I can't get my CD to magically jump from one hand to another?
es como para personalizar tu portada, no?
Is there something hidden? I was expecting a "good reader" in the thank yous.
can I have another instructional video for this one? HAHA? still don't get it....
what the name of this song.
I want to be top comment!
I am confused with the title of the song...what is it supposed to mean? isn't a requiem Mass for the dead?
Please get back together...
what's a CD?
what song is this???
So that's what you are supposed to do with those stencil/cutout thingies.... who'd have thunk it. Time to put the old overhead away......
So he's just putting the album art in order of the albums? I'm not sure I get it.
I dislike the sticker on the tops of the CD cases. Why don't they ever come off in one continuous piece? 0:08
bought on iTunes *facepalm*
