Fable Legends is the game that got away. Honestly towards the end of development it was a blast to play. Beautiful, full of mystery and magic. Sank countless hours in and just itching for more!
I’m so jealous of anyone who got to play. I’ve loved Fable growing up and was so devastated when Legends was not only cancelled but brought down the franchise with it too. I’m so excited for its revival with 4!
Fable Legends destroyed Lionhead Studios. Also wantet nobody create that game in the first place. Also were there weren’t there any will users at this time of history. Also ruled the the queen of blades, knight of blades and jack of blades Albion in this time of history. After Scythe killed two of them he founded the old kingdom which where industrialized like the new kingdom but with will power and machines together.
Fable is a classic RPG and one of my favourite video games of all time because of its fairytale and wacky nature and of course south west England accents from the villagers . Fable 2 is my personal favourite from the trilogy as it gives you a dog as your companion/ best pal . Shame legends got cancelled develing into Albion's past and the OG magical creatures that inhabited the land and finding out more about the old kingdom would of been awesome. I think the Dishonoured series or the Elder scrolls would be great candidates for a lore series.
I'm so sad I never got to experience Fable Legends. Hopefully Fable reboot will scratch the itch no other franchise can reach for me. Also, Fable 2 is definitely my favourite too
I was hoping to have more lore-filled games for Fable, and Legends would have definitely given that to us. The only issue I would've had was the play system and how it wasn't a strictly single-player-based game. I'm sure I would have gotten over it because it looked gorgeous, I loved the characters/ Heroes we'd gotten to see. I constantly play 1-3 because it's the only game series I've been drawn to for years. Here's hoping the reboot scratches that itch we fable fans have.
I wasn't into the idea of the gameplay of Fable Legends (I'd have much rather had just a normal Fable game), but I will never not be sad about what happened to Lionhead. It was an absolute crime. I love Fable, but I just don't know if the new game is going to feel like Fable or if it's just going to be wearing its skin. Also I don't have an XBox anyway.

Man, I feel like this would've been a massive success had they focused on creating a single player fable instead of PvP. They had many great ideas for this game that I absolutely would've loved.
I loved Fable, but the changes to the magic system in 2 and 3 were just awful - the lack of spell variety and the charge up mechanic made magic combat feel slow and repetitive.
I really hope that we get to see this era of fable. I'd also love to see the old kingdom era or even play through William's adventure to defeat the court and the founding of the old kingdom and his likely eventually transformation into scythe. As it's never directly stated, but it just makes too much sense.
It's been so long since I played either of the first 2 games, I barely remember a thing. I still have no idea what to expect from the reboot either, but I have a feeling it's going to try to be a bit more serious, sadly.

I Love Fable and I wish we had gotten to see it. A shame it fell by the wayside, and we never got it. maybe they will re use their Stuff from the game, and give it to us in Fable 4. I would say that maybe they kind of did anyways with Tiny Tina's wonderland. I mean, that game looks so much like Fable it made me hurt all over to bust out my old fable games and play them again. I know Albion online is still running around and I don't know that anything was re used there. My Favorite is Fable 2 also, Hammer's song was one of the major highlights and the Dog was an excellent addition to the game. Not that I don't love all the Fable games though. Here's to hoping we see Fable 4 soon.
And as for fav games all are As for the first game i loved the spells instant cast even as they leveled (other than fireball and turncoat) Its armours looked amazing ang had stats due to this plate mail was always the best They second game had the ability to use clothing more for fashion than armour so that was nice too then the charging of spells although bad i feel made the spells more powerful than the first game and experience was refundable and the good evil corrupt pure scale was an improvement over all i am pure evil blue skin red eyes so nice. Third game had its fair share of good with the interactive map and the road to rule was a change of pace with the eveolving weapons loved how they never felt the same twice. And finally music in all the games were a masterpiece
You can find footage of it on RUclips from when it was in beta (I think), there's a fair amount of people's recordings from way back then. I wanna play it too, if only to explore the maps :( Zoe
They should just release what they have done anyway :( I mean I know lionhead is gone but like why won't Microsoft release it. It was going to be a free game anyway. Id love to play it and everyone to get to see what the lionhead team put that effort into
I hated that with every game more and more fantasy creatures went extinct. I'm hoping for a solid return to it's roots of glorious fantasy with the upcoming reboot

I thought it was actually a very fun game. It was fun being able to play the hero or the "villain in the sky".
I still think this game could have been some great fun. I liked the dungeon concept they were trying to build.

yeah the charge up mechanic was so unwieldy. I really hate that they got rid of bows too. Zoe
