Diné College President Dr. Charles "Monty" Roessel Announces New Navajo Bachelor of Law Program

Tsaile, AZ - Diné College President Dr. Charles “Monty” Roessel today welcomed students back for the fall 2024 semester and announced the launch of a groundbreaking new program: the Navajo Bachelor of Law. This innovative degree program addresses the critical shortage of legal services on the Navajo Nation by cultivating a new generation of legal professionals deeply rooted in Navajo culture and law.
The Navajo Bachelor of Law program will provide students with a comprehensive legal education grounded in both traditional Navajo law and modern legal frameworks. Graduates of the program will be equipped to serve the Navajo Nation in a variety of legal capacities.
